Well... that happened. I hope you all liked it. I'll feedback... um... soon. I have some extra from a few kind souls who donated their time and energy into judging the PPV. Most of the show written by Lita. I did the ME, the Ken promo, the Tag Championship match, and the Bloodbath/Erik match. Card coming soon. Creatively exhausted. Thots? |

Umm, yeah. That rocked. HooLu, aww. Do love a good flaming motorcycle death match. I remember the first one, all those years ago. Fun times, fun times. Took me far too long to work out what a Hideon was. Not long, just anything more than about three seconds is too long. A little surprised that the Spectre Girls took the tag titles. BLS were pretty good on their own, and their manager did more work hyping the Main than either of the two in the ring/cage. Damn, should have tried to get Hikou in that opener, but I'm a no good bum. Definitely should have done an entrance, but it goes back to a point I made in an RP about Dai being a lazy moron. Good to see Mike Harrison's still alive after his FIW run. Less glad to see Chris Dash is alive [new Ryan Campbell is more fun. What's this pony shit? Is that the nonsense which turns Wight into a screaming fangirl?] Speaking of screaming fangirls: loved the Boy in the Main Event. Shame about the Astro Blue fanclub, but hide has space free for either his first or second favourite Yankee Apostle. I can't remember whether Herman counts. |

This was a damn good show, So far I have three pieces of feedback which I feel simply must be said. 1. Even The Boy must bow before the might of HooLu! #TEAMLOVE 2. That was a stellar main event, and the Silver Throne is just supremely badadss, Also GANSO BOMB! 3. I would politely like to request for the position of first favorite Yankee Apostle on the grounds that herman is a Shaman, not like an Apostle at all you see. |

Writing the dark match was pretty fun for what it was. I didn't want to short-change anyone just because it was a dark match but at the same time, it couldn't very well overshadow the actual card, y'know? The effort put in by the entrants was great, though, and I don't want anybody thinking they should be an afterthought because of it. Chris Maverick could really do with cleaning up his promos, honestly. It was pretty diifficult to read with the coding errors. Chris Dash, I enjoy him for what he is when he's doing his own thing and not playing foil to Ryan Campbell. I do love new Ryan Campbell, though. I hope to see more of him. Mike Harrison was definitely the strongest out of the three that entered, though. The character is conveyed crystal clear through a clean format and good writing. I hope to see more of this character. Flycore title match was a tad difficult to write. Richlen and Seto are both total babyfaces but... Richlen has been a tad heelish this past few weeks in his promo. I still didn't want to write him as a heel in this match, but with him plainly stating that he wants to leave Seto a bloody mess and expose him to the world, well it was hard to write him as anything other than a man trying to kill another super babyface. I was glad to finally put a title belt on Seto Uchiha as I have been a huge fan of the character for quite some time now and I felt like it's been a long time coming. Not that Richlen's loss was a long-time coming because he was good as champion, but I've just felt like Seto has been ready for a while now. I hope Wight is cool with the ending I chose for Tremendous/Ultra. I was simply told that both men should look good but Tremendous should win through pirate trickery. I wanted to try something unique and so that's what I came up with. I tried to channel some Eddie Guerrero because I realized that's sort of who Captain Tremendous is. I don't remember a whole lot of specifics as to what I wrote in the matches as I wrote them all fairly quickly and immediately after work, but I seem to remember the Midway match being the toughest for me to write. I'm not sure why that is. Apologies if it's lacking in any way or either character didn't come off looking good. The RPs from both were really good. Unfortunately the plan for Cody this cycle never really saw its completion. I'm a tad bummed about that. But I'm glad he retained. I'm really liking the Boy Wonder gimmick he's got going on. Usually I'm all over Holland and Bloodbath but yesterday I just didn't have the mental capacity to write these two. So I apologize to Will and Adam for not staying on to write their next encounter. Wight did a good job with the match type, which I doubt I would have been able to do anything with, honestly. That match type is tough for me. Sad about BLS losing the tag titles. I pulled out of judging the contest as I felt I was too close to the situation but I really would have liked to see BLS continue as the champions. I felt like there were some good stories to tell and that Nate and Steve have been slowly progressing their characters well. Unfortunately, I feel like with the personal issues Hayden recently had really stunted the BLS as have put a lot of work into a good storyline with the Dream Team only for a curve ball to be thrown their way to basically wipe all that build up away. I think they did well all things considered, but yeah. Disappointing. Astro vs. Horus was my favorite match that I wrote. I didn't realize it when I started it, but I suddenly had a perfect vision of what needed to happen. I hope Astro's low tactics came across well and that Horus' need for victory was conveyed well. I felt like both men needed to kick out of finishers but Horus needed to kick out both finishers to get across that he wouldn't let himself lose. I guess here's as good a place as any to announce that Lucas is likely taking some time off following this match. I can't really see anything for him to immediately jump into now that he's officially been de-masked and will be returning to the ultra babyface that we all know and love. He's already feuded with Intensity (who is arguably a huge fan favorite at this point) and it never works when hide and Lucas have to punch each other (not to mention that hide, like Intensity, is a huge fan favorite himself). Might have been cool to do BLS vs. HooLu but... yeah. The main-event... oh my God, that main-event. That main-event, oh my God. That stip was pretty damn awesome and one where you KNEW the cage was happening since it was announced but you still sat hoping that you're right about it happening. Wight and I dicussed this match result at LENGTH last night. When this was booked, I'm going to be honest. My initial thought was that hide was going to take the belt. I mean, he's hide Fuckin' Kitazawa. However, Boy has exceeded even MY expectations with Mr. Intensity and I have been pushing for a Mr. Intensity main-event run since before the man's drinking problem was even exposed. Last night when I went to bed, a decision hadn't been made. We both voiced our opinions on both men in this match and I'll be completely honest here. As I read bit by bit, carefully avoiding the match result, the moment I scrolled those two lines to see that hide did indeed win, I was smiling like an idiot. I love the Boy and I love Mr. Intensity. I would have been happy if he won this match, but I would have been sad for Dai. I feel like despite everything hide has already accomplished (and he's damn accomplished in this fed) he's been long overdue for another run at the top. That last RP he did really secured it for me too. That was fantastic. I really enjoyed writing with both Boy and Dai this past cycle. I'm so glad to have Kim back and able to interact with so many characters. That's one thing I've always loved about her. Her relationships with Mike and hide are so unique and a little puzzling, but that's what I love about them. She and Mike are this weird perfect match somehow. Their personalities just seem like a natural fit since he's an underhanded dick and she's an underhanded bitch yet they aren't towards one another. It's kind of weird too because I feel like their connection really stems back to Joe Stanton in the same (but somehow different) way as Cody and April's friendship. Then the relationship with hide... I don't know if even science can explain that. It just works for me and I love it. So yeah... I don't think there's anything else for me to say here. Is that everything? |

Actually, Lita, I might say that Seto isn't exactly a total babyface either, and Richlen isn't a clean one to begin with (I always feel the alignment is more "himself" [because I hate the word "tweener" with a purple passion]). The first chunk of that promo with Seto and Hayden doesn't show much, if any, faceness, at least from Seto, who is ostensibly supposed to be one. |

I was impressed by the show. It is rare that I read a show from start to finish, but here in NGIW, I have done it for the last two shows. I find the style of writing entertaining and fun to read, and it can also be done without needing to read a novel. The graphic work is excellent. So props to the designer. I've not been around long enough to really comment on what the existing storyline's are, and how or if they have been wrapped up. But overall I really enjoyed the Horus and Astro match, and the main event was worthy of top bill on a PPV (plus, I love steel cage matches). Overall, the roleplays were competitive and good to read, and the show was presented and written very well. Great work to those involved. |

As usual, the show was great! Kinda disappointed that BLS lost the titles but at the same time I feel like the BLS RP's weren't the best they could be. Personally I had a hard time coming up with material because there wasn't much history to pull from with the Spectre Girls and the material we DID have was to build up the storyline with Dream Team that we had started. So, apologies to Jo for not giving ya much to go on for your own RP's against us. I do have some ideas for upcoming RP's following the result of the tag title match assuming the BLS storyline is heading in a different direction instead of the Dream Team. Lita, I'll PM ya with the ideas a little later today and get your take. As for the rest of the show, the ME between Intensity and hide was awesome as was the Horus vs Astro match. I guess now Astro can't claim BLS got the "blue" from his name anymore. Now if he comes back, it'll CLEARLY be the other way around. :p Lol Overall the entire show was great. Looking forward to see where everything progresses! |

I haven't read the show yet. I scrolled but didn't read. I just wanted to drop in and say that I had every intention to roll out a couple more RP's before the deadline, one of which was to involve Cody McGinnis, but work threw me a curve ball and I had to travel for a course. It was a one-time shot therefore my reliability around NGIW should improve over the weeks to come. Don't count me out yet, folks! |

I'm a little mixed on my own thoughts right now. When I first read the results of the tag mach I was like Yay! Then I read the feedback and I was like ...yay..? So I don't know. It was a good match and nice to see Vi get in her shot on Kim because I don't think anyone really likes her anyway. :P But for now, I'll wave my little Spectre Girls flag off the board. And that's fine about the RP's, man, I still had a lot of fun creating a sort of "unity" between Eve and Mouse.:) Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

Don't feel too bad, Jo. Your RPs were good and that is why you won. The basis of my disappointment is because I'm involved with the BLS group and because I feel like the sudden title change was a bit flat. I wish we had been able to actually build up something between BLS and the Spectre Girls so that either outcome would've actually been an exciting story. |

^ That goes for me as well. You clearly had us beat in the RP's cause just like Mouse said in one of your RP's, we pretty much said the same thing twice in the last two RP's we posted for the cycle. Of course any loss is disappointing in general cause, by nature, any loss is. But by no means would I take anything away from you in terms of the quality of RP's cause like I said, you clearly had us beat. ...Just don't get used to it :p Lol just kidding. |

First things first, card is up. Sorry for the delay. Had a weird day yesterday, just basically forgot to do everything I was supposed to do. Today seems more on track. Now! For feedback. Dark Match Everyone involved in the decision pretty much agreed as to whose star shined the most brightly in roleplays, but we also agreed that ALL the efforts for this match were pretty good. As to what the special prize is... well, that remains to be seen, doesn't it? I do love a little mystery. Flycore Match While a lot of voices agreed that this was "Seto's time", there were also a lot of thoughts that Hayden wasn't as "on point" with him and that Richlen has become a much more rich character. Definitely a close one, and I'm personally glad to see that Sticky isn't giving up the ghost on this one. Tremendous v. Ultra Storylined all to hell, though thanks to those that provided feedback. I think Lita did a great job with the close of the match. It was tricky and clever while being original. I'm liking this feud more and more every time we engage in it, and I like the slow build as well. It's gonna be hard to make this feel different from Pirates/K-Pro but I think we can do it. Midway Match There's been a lot of talk about Scott Free being a 'watered down Brian Mauler', and for a while I couldn't help but agree with that... however I think last week he really let his individuality shine and made a great stride toward making himself a name in NGIW. This week... well, it started off nice, but the promise just didn't get fulfilled. Hopefully with work no longer breathing down his neck, Adam can continue cultivating this personality. Holland vs. McGrath I wanted to do this match with longer results, but I did the ME first and was just... WIPED. I hope I did it a little credit, I had some real hype for these guys and I think the buildup has just been spectacular. This feels like a clean enough break that both men can move on to new things. I look forward to seeing what happens from both handlers. Tag-Team Championships I feel like this match would've been closer to even if BLS/Spectre Girls had some kind of build-up, or if the storyline we were INTENDING to build had gone as planned. Things like that deflating makes it REALLY hard to win a match, especially when you're trying to scramble to come up with something new in the ashes of your carefully-laid plans. It sucks, but I wasn't going to deny The Spectre Girls the championships they so obviously earned just because BLS had been dealt a bad hand. Joe's been doing REALLY well since his return, and despite a couple of missteps his roleplaying game has both stayed within NGIW's parameters of reality AND been entertaining pieces. I think Mouse and Eve are probably the best configuration of Spectre Girls since the old-school Eve and Lilith. Astro Blue v. Horus Beautiful job, Lita. We've been angling slowly for this storyline for MONTHS now. Hell, almost a year. I think you executed it perfectly. NGIW/RCR Championships This match required a hell of a lot of deliberation, but given the aftermath and where it looks like things are going from here, I'm very happy with the decision I finally made. If there's any questions anyone has, feel free to ask. I'm here with all the info you might need. |
