Didn't get it up quite at the time I would've liked, but things came up. So it is what it is. Sorry guys. First off, if you read the opening segment you'll see some changes being thrown in already. Hopefully they are for the better, or at least for an entertaining alternative for the time being. Opening match, got to be honest, not sure how I feel about the results. I went with the majority call over my gut with this one. Dai's RP wasn't bad or anything, but I would've liked a more personal hide RP as well to follow it up or for hide to show his face in some capacity. Sakura's enjoyable but she doesn't quite have the same punch, no pun intended, as him. Also there's the whole confidence shaker angle going on with hide it would seem that I sort of was hoping we could play with. Dream, on the other hand, I found just right. Ideally the RP would've come in sooner, as I know it was one of the things being held against the RP by some. The other being a matter of taste, I suppose. Whereas it would seem the majority of the staff found the humor lacking, I enjoyed it. Thought it played on hide's gimmick and staying true to Dream without straying too far from either. Like I said, I went with the majority call over my gut on this one. But I'm hoping this doesn't get you down on yourself, Hayden. Think if you keep it up, you can see Dream racking up the wins soon again. Trios match was pretty tied by all accounts. Gus, you're continuing to improve as an RPer, much like you have since you got here really. The only real piece of constructive feedback I can offer is the one most of the staff has said in the past. You got the dialogue down pretty well, just focus on expanding the description some. Feel like it's the only thing really holding the Pred Nation back at this point. Everyone's general feelings seemed to be that Malice continues to produce entertaining stuff with Knight. S'why partially his team got the win. Not that the PBSC was bad, as usual Hayden and Lita were great together with their characters. Just that the Knight RP had a little more oomph to it that tipped the scales. Everyone pretty much agreed and had the same thoughts about Bloodbath/Intensity II. Both had good RPs, on par with one another, but Triad had a bit more of a lasting hook with his. Sometimes that's all that's needed to break the even stevens and lean things in your favor. So far, I'm liking what's going on between the two and it continues to provide some entertaining bits from both characters. Not alot to say, but not necessarily a bad thing either. Ken and ULTRA, another one that pretty much everyone agreed on and everyone felt was pretty even across the board. Both were entertaining, ULTRA continues to be one of my favorite of Wight's creations. However Lita had Ken bring up some good points that refuted some big points of discussion between the two of them. Ultimately that's what it came down to and why Ken got the victory over ULTRA. This one was another tough call to make. Nate had some good stuff with the BLS, and Mike had some really good stuff with Harrison, and lots of it. However it's always been a rule of thumb that a no show is a no show at NGIW, and I don't particularly feel right breaking that rule. Main reason why it became so easy to call it in favor of the good guys, because even though T & Lita and Jo hit it out of the park, otherwise it would've been harder to call. That said, I didn't want Nate or Mike to go away empty handed for their efforts. Tried to make both Harrison and the BLS look strong, and give both Nate and Jo something to work with going forward with the BLS/Spectre Girls program. Main Event was pretty straight forward and actually pretty much the same case as Bloodbath/Intensity. Lita's work with Tremendous was good, but Will's work with Erik had a slight edge over it. Namely for a few catchy lines. Because of this, Holland managed to pick up the W. Though I feel pretty much any other cycle, with any other set of RPs and Tremendous could've been the winner. That's pretty much all I have right now. If you have any questions or concerns, or want more expansive feedback, don't be afraid to PM me. Card's going up in a second and let's get this feedback thread rolling. |

I'm really happy with how everything turned out. I'm not sure I'm sold on the colored text for commentators. Makes the show look a little "busy" for me... but I dunno, maybe it'll grow on me. I can't argue with any of the decisions... not too much, anyhow. Eager to get started on next show! |

I similarly love Jessica Knight. Wasn't sure if my RP would beat Lita, but happy to get the W. Rest of the show was solid as always. |

If I may ask the staff, which parts seemed to be lacking during The Dream promo and what can I do to improve? I felt that the RP was similar to Dream promos in the past, but if I can make him better, I'll gladly accept a critique or two. |

Alright, can I be super self involved for just a second here? I LOVE every angle that Intensity gets to have with Bloodbath. Their RCR feud really helped make Intensity in NGIW and this feud looks like it's going to be no different. I love their back and forth, the very John Cena let's have an awesome match versus Stone Cold I'm gonna rip your head off and shit down your neck sensibility. It provides great contrast stylistically and really helps sell the fact that anyone can bring the ultraviolence in NGIW. Triad is always some of the most fun to work with (partially because I love the King of Beards so much, I'll admit) and I really think this angle has legs and I can't wait to see how it winds up. Also, The Boy's exit from commentary? Flawless. Now on to the rest of the show I'm scared of this new 'back to basics' hide. As the Raptor Messiah's favorite Yankee Apostle I will not lose faith in my Mecha savior, but I know not why he test my faith so. The Dream is great, I have said this before and I will continue to do so. The ULTRA versus Ken match's finish was a little unexpected to be honest. I like the pirates as much as the next guy, but... Sparkuru? That said it wasn't underserved, just odd. The Atomico Tag match had a sadly foregone conclusion, but in the end I have to back the play there. A no show is a no show. That said all the RPS that came in were really good on both sides, so I was still entertained. Dat Main Event Doh. I liked the match flow here a lot. and I think it was a great way to showcase the characters involved. |

Apologies all around for the late RP this cycle, guys. Seems like I've been doing that a lot lately. Lol. To be honest, this cycle the only reason why I was late coming up with something is cause I haven't really had any ideas for anything to say with BLS. I've been kind of creatively drained as of late. But I've mentioned this before so no sense beating a dead horse here. I think with the result of this match, it'll tie in perfectly to the last-minute RP I posted up, specifically with Eversol's last words in it. I'm gonna try to post something up soon. That said, I mentioned this to Lita in PM and I meant to mention it to Nir but I've been super busy lately so I hadn't gotten around to it. But no time like the present to go ahead and spill it. Recently I've managed to get a part-time job working as an editor for a friend of mine who is starting her own business. We'll be editing book manuscripts, blogs and all kinds of stuff for clients (Wighty, just so you know, we're welcoming new clients if you're interested. Lol. Shameless plug, I know :p). So, there is a slight chance I might have to call it a day here at NGIW, specifically if we get a high number of clients to where things will be super busy. For the time being, I can still stick around here because the business is a start-up and we haven't gotten a client list yet. It's all still up in the air and definitely not set in stone just yet. Just thought I'd toss that out there to let everybody know in case the day does come, though. Anyway, back to the feedback: the rest of the show was great as always. That was a cool bit at the beginning with the changing of the guard on commentary. The matches themselves were great. I half expected the loss with the team BLS was on but I thought it would be because of my RP not only in terms of its lateness but also because of its quality. Lita and T had some great stuff but that's not surprising at all. Lol. I like the idea of Cody having his own YouTube show in the Vlog Ep. 1 RP. The Trios Tag Match was a fun read as was the ME with Holland and Intensity. Great stuff all around in RP's as well. Looking forward to the next one! |

My wife is my editor, it helps her put her English degree to work. But thank you. Re: Dream, I just didn't like the humor in this week's RP. Like, Dream is usually on. This week he wasn't. Happens to the best of us. *shrugs* That's not super useful feedback, but I feel like this situation was a fluke more than something preventable. |
