All right! So, first things first... 1. Sorry if the show is kinda lackluster. I'm rusty as fuck. 2. Sorry if there's any coding errors. Lemme know and I'll fix them. 3. Card will be posted soon-ish. I wanna play a little WoW while I ruminate on my options. I don't wanna yabber on for days about this event, 'cuz it was a good one, but I don't wanna wear out my fingers and I wanna get on to next week. SO! This is why the show went the way it did. Dream no-showed. Easy result. Bloodbath no-showed. Easy result. Chose the method I did to advance storylines. Debated about making Erik/Gus a non-finish, but with what I chose to do with the Intensity/Roxie match I decided against it. I felt Richlen's RP edged out Holland's a bit, which is amazing. I've never seen such a turnaround in RP quality. HOWEVER. I want to STRESS as the announcers did; this is an awesome win for The Predator Knight but by no means gurantees him an NGIW title shot. Keep it up and we'll talk main event strap. ... er... chair. Might have to make that a strap again, in addition to the chair. Hmmm... Mouse's efforts weren't bad this week. Grounded. But... a bit bland. Simple. Very safe. Whereas hide is playing with fire and doing really well with it. I didn't want to diminish Mouse's ability as a co-champion with the dialogue and I may have gone too far, but at the same time I'm not sure why Nir booked a very dominant hide against someone who hasn't had much play. Joe is a time-tested handler, but Mouse is NOT a time-tested character. I just don't get that one. Promo from Hayden/Dai. Thanks guys! Ugh. This match. If I had to pick a winner I'd say Intensity... but... that I can almost gurantee is due to preference. Once upon a time Chester Wynn and Roxie battled for the belt and Lita went out on a limb and did something with Chester that I... just didn't get. Just... not at all. Roxie had a damn cromulent set of RPs and I had no clue what Chester was doing... so Roxie won. Here we see that reversed for Joe. They were well-written and I... kind of? got what he was going for? But... not... really. I felt like I was missing something. At the same time, Boy had to take some personal leave early in the RP cycle and didn't manage to get anything up except for the joint between himself and myself, which really had nothing to do with the match and more to do with the overall Bloodbath feud. So... I figure... play into storylines. We'll sort everything out next week. I took control of a few characters for this, but I don't feel anybody did anything out of character and I think I sold everyone pretty well. At least, I hope I did. If there's a problem please politely PM me and we will handle it like adults. Lastly, the main event. I felt like this was a downswing week for Scott Free, probably partially owing to Adam being indisposed with the courtship of apples. Knight's issues didn't help much either, but both sets of RPs were good. I just felt April/Harrison's were way more on point. More punchy, more thick and juicy. I understand that's not much to go on to improve... but I don't think this was a situation where I can suggest anything other than "gosh, maybe don't let life get in the way" and if I said that I'd be a huge twat who deserves to get slapped, so whatever. Harrison and April pick up a victory, but somebody had to win so it might as well be those two. Aaaaaand that's it. I'm looking forward to all your feedback on the show, the new liaison, the new announce team (VERY last-minute decision there, I actually had a few matches written with a different TRIO first...) and whatever else. EDIT: Card coming sometime tomorrow (10/02). I just need to check a few logistics things since I'm finishing someone else's plans. Thots? |

The Snacky-Smores Guy

Yeah, the hide.Mouse match seemed kind of off to me as well. As Wight pointed out she's not that established a character yet. Mostly due to the fact that she's had more interactions with Eve than anything else. But the loss doesn't make me want to rage quit her. I felt the match was even enough between the two, for the inexperienced Mouse when it comes to singles contests. Roxie RPs...as I said in my OOC comment, I wrote the first one as a means of ignoring current proceedings at work. I was in a sanity be damned mood and it just sorta carried on. But at the same time I didn't want to come out with the same generic Roxie stuff. "Ha ha, Roxie's an idiot. I get it." Case in point, I wasn't pleased with the actual RP I wrote for the match. Left me with nowhere to go afterward. So I decided to go the different route and instead of Roxie really talking about her plans, I wanted her to actually go ahead with them. Well...in the case of the second one. The first one was just a cheap imitation of The Maxx, if anyone remembers that. Probably not since no one mentioned him during Crackerjack's stint and that guy was 75% based off that character. The other 25% obviously being Spawn. The last one was something I've always wanted to write but just never had to guts to. I wanted to add in a little more, but breaks at work only last so long. :P As for actual show feedback, it'll be interesting to see Vi call an Eve match now, just make sure she isn't wearing anything low cut. Mouse will certainly have something to talk about now. And yay! After months of sitting on the shelf, Roxie's stepping up! WOMYN POWER!!! Party on, Joe. ~eat snacky smores~ |

Dug the show. Graver on commentary was grand, Vi was alright. Matches all seem to have a coherent story, and the whole thing came up in a reasonable time frame. You missed Lita's contribution to the segment. Angry Suri made it, and (I hope) has helped me a little with defining The Bisenshi Sakura character in my own head. So, yeah. Main happening for me this week was the business with the passing of the Bisenshi. It came about when it became clear that Ultra was pretty awesome, and the Bisenshi were something that was completely Sakura. There have been clues: the colour, the moves, even the theme. Although, that last one is so tenuous. I'm on "nodding on the street" terms with the artist, but only a few people could know that. Not how I wanted to do it, but you gotta work with what's there. The main thing is going forward. Also, the ninja thing was all Hikou. hide and Rin came up with the idea for Hikou to fight Intensity, but last time was pure Hikou. Don't like putting images into RPs, but it wasn't a proper RP. Figure it fitted this once, given that it was supposed to be Twitter. |

I definitely think Richlen earned the victory. Very good RP, I think he edged me out, good win boss. Huge huge win, I think you need to keep this up as well. |

Not even close. The show was awesome as usual. I definitely enjoyed the Bloodbath/Alexander match as well as the...aftermath? of the Intensity/Roxie...match? Lol. Even though it wasn't really a match. Nathaniel didn't do anything there that was out of character at all. I had a couple more ideas for RP's but I wanted to give Adam a chance to respond for Bloodbath first. But it's no biggie, though. Nathaniel will be glad to pick up the W on that match. Lol. One thing I wanna say about the show results, I didn't realize this until I saw it but I actually missed the: ONE! TWO! THR--AND A KICKOUT! stuff. I never realized it until I saw it in the results for this show. It's such a small detail but I liked that it was in there. Overall the entire show was great and everyone did equally as good on their RP's this cycle as well. After the aftermath/results involving Bloodbath, Roxie, Intensity and Alexander, I'm definitely looking forward to seeing what happens with that storyline. |

I'm actually a bit surprised that I won, to be honest. To be honest, I need to dig and see if I can get inspiration from more than just Chael Sonnen. I mean, there's a wealth of stuff I can dig through from him, but there's others I know I can get stuff from yet. |

Yeah, look around at stuff and try to think about Gus Richlen being built from it. Don't always rely on other mediums but right now, this is really good for you to build Gus' 'voice' and his personality. I don't think you should be surprised, I mean, I thought my RP was pretty darn good TBH and if you beat me, that must mean YOUR stuff was really good. |

Throne mounted on a platform above the SinTron. Ladders gotta be used to get up to the platform and first one to sit thier ass on the throne wins, deadly musical chairs. Makes taking tumbles from the ladder way more dangerous, but thems the breaks. |

I sincerely hope another week of sinus infections, pediatrician visits, and a rather nerve-wracking visit with a judge will not be happening any time soon. I went in reasonably sure I was going to lose, but was still pleasantly surprised at my showing. The rest of the show was a fun read. I suppose my short time here has kept me from getting too attached to any one format just yet, but I liked this one. A solid show from start to finish, and I'm looking forward to the next one. |

Yeah, this week was all about developing the story with Seto and Koji. There was a lot to build off of this week, and Dream had to take the hit. Fortunately this does play into plans I have for Dream. Wighty, I'll send you a pm soon. |
