Full feedback later... maybe. Card will be up basically whenever graphics get done.

Weird PPV cycle, I'll say that much. I like how there was this huge "I'm gonna play this shit straight" speech I made and then no-shows, departures, storylines, and all kinds of other shit got in the way of me doing that. Ah well. I like to think we're all still having fun.

Not our best week, but at the same time there were a LOT of great stories written. So, everyone who RP'ed did a pretty damn good job. Special highlights go to Intensity/April, Nathaniel Alexander, and everything Adam did. Gorgeous.

Thots?

I definitely want to issue my apologies for the lackluster performance this week. I really don't know what happened. I told the Boy that I am loving so much of what's going on here in NGIW, but I just couldn't come up with anything for my characters to say. So I just PMed Boy with the start of an RP to see where it went. But I kind of like that Mike and April just sort of talk about whatever.

The Pirate RP came to me late in the cycle, but I really enjoyed finally being able to hear the Pirates speak in my head. That's probably one of the best RPs I've done with them in months. Still, surprised to see the victory in that way.

Major apologies go to Adam. We started that Bloodbath/Kim RP and I sort of bailed on you. It wasn't intentional. Couldn't come up with a response right away and then forgot. Sorries.

Match was short but, ugh, deservingly so. Couldn't get into anything for Terrifying. Didn't help that I kinda knew the result so there was no desperate edge to come up with something clever or entertaining, not to mention my body and mind were worn out from starting an eight day stretch at work at the time. THAT'S over with, thankfully.

I did, on the other hand, like writing my Mouse/Eve one. Even if no one really reads it because she isn't booked, that's fine. Was still fun to write. Next one, at least the next one that's finished, has a super special secret guest that isn't one of my own characters! Yay! Though I don't know if that'll get posted this week or after this coming show. Anyway, my two cents worth there. Like, favourite, comment, subscribe.

Party on,
Joe.

Phew, that was a busy week! Probably the busiest I've ever been on the board, but it was so worth it. Setting up the Midway title story was pretty damn important. Especially with as talented a crew as we've assembled around the championship. So many options. So many stories to tell. I feel like we four just dumped a treasure chest full of gold on the Wight board... ... ... you're welcome.

As it turned out, the Claire de Loon/Bloodbath developments took a backseat to Scott Free's goings on. That wasn't intentional. I wanted to be Adam fair-play and wait for Mike to post something before I posted a second role play. Plus, my second idea is totally flexible, as in a few tweaks and it makes just as much sense later as it would have now. But still, yay for winning!

I enjoyed a lot of the role plays that I read this week. After reading the 10/31 RP, and being thoroughly entertained, I had to ask myself, where have I heard that song before..?

Morpheus continues to impress. You rock my socks, dude.

I felt like Sticky and Hayden were just standing there slapping each other... and not even as hard as they could. Just enough to upset the other guy. I know both handlers have something more in them. I also know that it's hard to get something rolling when you're jumping from opponent to opponent every week, but sometimes that's a blessing in disguise. Character development time! Explore back stories or tell a tale of a man climbing the ladder. Sticky has a pool of interesting and potentially great characters and I really want to know more about them.

Big thanks to Lita, Morpheus, and Pain! They're so cooperative and flexible. I don't always deliver the performance people expect and it's cool that they tolerate my creative tendencies. The collaborative threads we four produced were definitely the highlight of my week! No worries about cutting the thread short, Lita. It's totally salvageable.

Another great week, friends!

everything Adam did. Gorgeous.

Just a quick note for now but I couldn't agree more! I told Adam this in a PM but I'll say it here too, the interaction between Cody and Scott Free was awesome! It was short and simple, but it still had a lot going on in it and it was great. I feel the same way with the Nathaniel/Scott Free bit also. Adam's responses and his initial comment that started the whole thing made it really easy to come up with a natural response from Nathaniel.

I definitely enjoyed the RP's we all did for the Midway championship. I was hoping to get some sort of interaction between April and Nathaniel but time ran out before anything could happen there. April's interaction with Intensity was great, though. I think it helped me a lot to come up with stuff to say in my own RP that I posted afterward.

I think the only thing I wasn't happy with was the interview RP that I did, only because I feel like I always default to that when I have no other ideas for things to say or do. With that said, I'm glad everyone seems to have liked it and like the things that I did with everyone involved in the Midway title picture. I'm honestly surprised I won that match; I wasn't expecting to at all.

I'll be editing this post with more feedback soon; I just wanted to mention all of this first.

Thanks everyone for understanding as far as my personal shit. It's not getting any better, not by a long shot. But no-showing doesnt seem to be helping. I need to get in Erik's head so I can stay out of mine, is basically what I'm saying.
