Show written by me!

Thanks to Nir for the promo.

I'm a little tired, in general, but I know feedback is important to you guys so I'll try to get my point across while also keeping it brief.

I thought McGinnis and Dream had a REALLY GOOD thread. I REALLY LIKED IT. But on a one-on-one standpoint, Richlen tipped the scales just enough in his favor with a few really clever lines that I thought he deserved the win. Good work!

I'm not sure I "get" DJ KZ. I still respect the work that was put into the roleplay, but I liked the flavor of the Spectral Cabal's work a lot more.

I really expected more out of Scott Free. What was there was good, there just wasn't a lot of it. I enjoyed what was there, but I feel like GLJ was back on form this week, despite Skell's RP being so close to the deadline.

The Dream had some incredible stuff this week. I was barely interested in reading Joe Stanton's RP this week because of it, I really thought this was gonna be a foregone conclusion, but Nir put SO MUCH spirit and effort into his work and he's REALLY running a good angle with his character. Topping an impossible-to-top RP is truly a master's stroke. I commend you.

As I told Boy privately, I wasn't feeling Intensity this week the way I was last week. All the spirit and energy and hype that was there during the party just wasn't as present in the joint thread with April the way I expected it to be. The solo RP was a lot better and I really liked the last paragraph of speech, but it wasn't really enough to overcome Steve's very well-characterized efforts this week... that is until the last RP. I'm not of the opinion that a bad RP can ruin all your good RPs, but it certainly made me disinclined to reward him with the same magnitude. In the end, the call I made for the match was more to allow Murder City and Mr. Intensity to part ways without either camp looking 'bad' so they can both pursue their individual efforts. I'm sure I fucked up pulling that off somehow, but I tried.

I LOVED the Brick Shark's RP, and in contrast I really had no clue what the fuck was going on in the Spectre Girls' first one. I mean, I can follow a narrative, but there was just a lot about it that didn't jive with me. Jokes weren't hitting right, the message was kind of lame, and I was poised to have new Tag-Team Champions until I read the second RP some week(s) later. VERY good stuff. The Eve half was OK, Roxie's bits were the usual flavor of Roxie filler we have come to expect, but the character I felt got the most development was Mouse. VERY good stuff in Mouse's half of the RP. If I had any specific complaints it would be that her "bad" random chance choices are so ridiculous that it starts to break my suspension of disbelief. As always, Joe's gonna do what Joe's gonna do, but he tends to like feedback so I'm giving it. I was hoping for another Brick Sharks RP, but I can understand with everything going on over in FIW why Lita wouldn't have the time. I still think both teams did a really great job and while it didn't feel like an epic feud, you guys definitely gave this match the credit it deserved being a title match. Thank you!

The card is up. Some very obvious parties have been left off, but really only because I didn't have a cozy place to fit any of them. As the tagline says, just lemme know if you want me to add your wrestler(s) to the card in some way. Until then...

DAMN IT, CODY. I was really disappointed that it seems I was the only one to promo for that match.

I can't believe I went so macabre for the promo I did write. And despite me mentioning Sven de Caluwe, I should mention that his band (with the disturbing name of Aborted!) is NOT my cup of tea.

Anyway, the whole Stanton/Dream storyline is more interesting than anything I'm doing right now.

The first RP (Yay, I won!) was another avenue of Eve over thinking situations. That's basically her character, someone who doesn't take the easy answer but instead believes there is always a much deeper reasoning behind everything. I mean I could give it the "generic Steele Media" flavour but one of the reasons I like the Spectre Girls is because their situation isn't overly sexualized. Things are to an extreme but it's a fun extreme, I feel. I do have to ask for clarification on bad random chance choice suspending disbelief. If it was the one with Mouse fearing about Eve wanting sex, as I explained that literally was a random choice moment.
Party on,
Joe.

Its really been all of the flubbed ones. Like, it seems her "wrong" statements only go the most weirdly random wrong way. There's rarely anything that's just "kind of off the mark". It just stretches my belief in the system that out of all her random chances, its either spot on or completely bananas.

EDIT: It's not a huge deal. Just... sullies otherwise solid RPs more than it needs to. I could get why the ridiculous stuff COULD happen, but it seems like it's only one or the other. Maybe I'm just forgetting the other times because they don't stand out as much in my memory.

EDIT 2: Fixed the card. Thanks, The Boy.

Well I was pleased to see that I won. I was a bit confused with the ending of the match as it appeared April and Mack were on the floor (at least that's how I read it) next thing April has her hand on the rope, Murda falls and gets DQ win. Maybe I read it wrong.

Also I thought my final RP was ok until Wight mentioned it was bad. I went back and read it and indeed it was a hot steaming pile of turd. I almost didn't RP again and part of me wishes I hadn't.

Anyway, thanks to Wight for writing the show and putting it all together. I had fun RPing this week and look forward to RPing with Lita this week. With that said as some of you have seen over at FIW, I have been experiencing some computer difficulties with my recent free Windows 10 upgrade. It appears I've got it working now but I'm not sure for how long that will last.

Hm...this is kinda confusing feedback to me. Not that I have any problems big or small with it, just...it's difficult for me to understand. Given that, to me, Mouse's choices of fate can only have one of two outcomes. Either she gets it right or wrong and acts accordingly. Unless...do you mean the swerving details of it? Like Mouse and Eve are talking about something and Mouse fails a fate check and thus the conversation swerves the other way? Perhaps it's just me, but that's about the only dilemma I can see with it.

I know it's not a big deal but now I'm just confuzzled. :P

Party on,
Joe.

Joe, let me try and use an example. This is purely made up, obviously.

Extremely Wrong:
Vicky: Mouse, what did you want on your sandwich?

Mouse: I would like... uhhhh... rusty nails.

Vicky: ... what?

Less Extremely Wrong, But Still Wrong:
Vicky: Mouse, what did you want on your sandwich?

Mouse: I would like... uhhhh... mayo.

Vicky: OK!

Mouse frowns, because she actually hates mayo.

One more time, having less to do with sandwiches...

Extremely Wrong:
Eve: Mouse. Where do you think we should train this week?

Mouse: Uhhhmmmm... inside an active volcano.

Eve: No. That is stupid.

Less Extremely Wrong, But Still Wrong:
Eve: Mouse. Where do you think we should train this week?

Mouse: Uhhhmmmm... that gym on 5th street.

Eve: The one where we had the trouble last week? Very well. Perhaps if those over-muscled gym rats find themselves inclined to fight, we can earn some extra training...

Not saying they ALL need to be like that, but if they're all predictably ridiculous then it loses some of its punch/humor.

Steve, I don't know that I'd use the words "hot steaming pile of turd," but I'm glad you saw my point. Re-reading what I wrote I might've come off a little too severe. I blame my tired state, sorry. Also glad to hear your computer is working again! *knocks on wood*

Sucks I lost but I knew I wasn't going to win when I realized the deadline was up and I had never got around to posting anything else up. Kind of wish it had been Harley to take the fall instead of Caleb but I had plenty of time to mention that and never did so... again, my fault.

Match was really good, though.

The way our characters looked really strong was awesome. Even though it was a jobber team, it was really cool to see us get the win and to look dominant in doing so. So good job to Wight for that.

I hope our characters are getting over well. I'm still not sure if the street talk is helping them or not. Or if it's just completely unnecessary or annoying. If anyone has any comments or feedback for us so far, we'd be glad to hear it.

This week's show was a really fun read. I'll be leaving more feedback on the rest of the show soon, but just wanted to post this, though.

I loved the way the Bravehearts were portrayed here using their power and everything and the visual of Joe hitting the Ua Lava turned out exactly the way I'd imagined it would when I wrote it in his app. As I was saying, it was a bit of a challenge for me in terms of RP'ing because A) Joe and Tai are babyfaces, and B) It was hard for me to get the speech patterns and word choice down to fit the character. Whether or not our RP's were good, I'll leave that up to everybody else to decide. I really liked the match that they got, though because it showed their power and made them look really, really strong. Good stuff with this one. Hopefully the growing pains (at least for me, I can't speak for Bleak) will subside and I'll find my way into the character.

The only criticism I have is that they sound a little inorganic. Like, maybe it's my lack of experience but their dialogue doesn't flow like I hear most people using street slang. Read it out loud before you post it/send each other your portions. Usually helps me find out where I got too wordy or whatever.
