I think I'm right in saying that there are a few guys and/or girls over there surfing the Valley Sneaker and have a few questions... How is it to roll compared to other boats? How does it do in sloppy/crappy surf? How does it do in good/big surf? How is it for paddling out; does it back-loop easily? Thanks for any feedback, Chris |

chris been flat out and hadn't time to respond but better late than never yes i surf a sneaker and like it. all the other boats i tried seemed tippy and harder to roll than the sneaker when i first tried a HP boat. It rolls fine. I found it easier than the nuteron. haven't tried many others. however i did have to get a bar fitted on the cockpit to help keep me in the boat when upside down. if your big and have a fat arse you'll probably stay in the boat. in sloppy/crappy surf it's stable. sometimes i find it hard to get of the white stuff the boat just wants to carry on. [but thats my lack of skills] good clean surf - it goes well but for those big moves i'm sure the right person in it can pull them off. [i'm just a work in progress at those] paddling out is easy as i said its stable and as it is longer than other HP boats there's a bit more speed paddling out and with the take offs. I've spend many an enjoyable day in the sneaker watching others take a kicking. shooter |

Brilliant, Thanks Shooter. I love my Neutron RV but struggle in really small/crappy surf, and so I'm after a boat that will work well in smaller/crappier surf and I reckon the Sneaker is it (and your feedback seems to confirm what I was thinking). I'll be keeping an eye open for a second-hand one (there was one on ebay but I wasn't properly after one then, fingers crossed for another). Thanks again, Chris |
