 i saw a huge low sittn to the nw that weekend. It looked like a dartboard so fingers crossed that it lands on the north coast. It would be good if we got some big waves for the ni open as the last few years its been small.

 Looks now like there'll be some waves on Saturday with the tide pushing all afternoon.

Contest is therefore ON. Please register before 9.30am at Whiterocks carpark, Portrush. The first heat will hit the water as close to 10.30am as possible.

Entry fee is £5 per class.
