hi everyone, I would like to buy a kayak but im unsure which one to buy and from where. First of all I live in Gibraltar on the south coast of Spain opposite Morocco. I intend to use the kayak for paddling around the beaches and in the surf (when I get braver). I have to carry it to the beach (about 200m away) as my dear wife decided we had to by a convertible VW Eos - which is all very cool but not not very practical. So I doubt I will be using it on the rivers and lakes nearby.Any advice will be appreciated. thanks guys |

Hi, ive had a feel free nomad sit on top for about 4 years and its great if youre just paddling about and doing a bit of surfing. I drag it across rocks as i go out to islands and caves and all it does is scratch it a bit. Its really tough it would last for years as long as youre not being too careless with it. It is pretty heavy though so you might need 2 people to carry it or build a little trolley like I did. Theyre also cheaper than most kayaks so its well worth a look. Hope this helps. |
