This is my first review, but that's beside the point. Let's get started, shall Nintendo has truely come up with a new rendering of 4 CLASSIC games that run throughout the history of Nintendo's gaming. Part One: Legend Of Zelda Ask gamers anywhere about The Legend Of Zelda and this is likely the first game to come to mind. Although modern gamers may look in disgust at the classic 8-bit graphics format, those that have played since the NES will look at this game in awe as they play. The gameplay and the story of the game are quite interwoven as it takes time and dedication to unwind the threads of the game's hidden story. I have not beaten this game yet, but what I have played shows that The Legend Of Zelda was (and still is) a creative game series in which the person playing the game unravels the mystery of the game. Part Two: Legend Of Zelda II: The Adventure Of Link A direct sequel to the first Legend Of Zelda game, this game begins with the success of Link in the first game being shattered as Ganon puts a curse on Zelda. With Zelda in a deep sleep, Link must again set out to stop Ganon and awaken Zelda. Link's only help in the beginning are six crystals and a scroll. I have not even played this game on the LOZ: CE, but if it is as challenging as the original, I plan to spend a long time playing this game. Part Three: Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time My favorite game in the Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition is a STUNNING approach to the 3D power of the N64, the game's original system. Living in the Kokiri Forest, Link is often disturbed by nightmares of a powerful being shrouding Hyrule in waves of darkness. When he is met by a fairy and asked to remove a curse from the guardian of the Kokiri Forest, Link has no idea that his future will soon be very near, and that he will meet his nightmare in battle... I have beaten this game many times and almost completely memorized the game's most difficult dungeon. This Legend Of Zelda game out does any other before, and since, and I can see why. Part Four: Legend Of Zelda: Majora's Mask Yet another direct sequel in the Legend Of Zelda series, this one follows the Ocarina Of Time. Majora's Mask pulls the game player in quickly, beginning with a chase through a forest, one that leaves Link in a parallel world called Termina, where he has only 3 days to retrieve Majora's Mask from the Skull Kid that led him into the world of Termina. This game's unique style comes from both Ocarina Of Time, and from its own design, as Link can fight in Termina as himself, and (with the help of powerful masks) as three of the familiar creatures that Link met in Ocarina Of Time. Another thing that seals the link between the Ocarina of Time and Majora's mask is that once retrieved, Link can use the Ocarina Of Time and some familiar melodies to make sure that his three days do not run out quickly. Part Five Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker Long after the Hero Of Time has left the world and Hyrule has sunk to the depths of the sea, peace is disrupted as a boy named Link watches his sister kidnapped by a great bird. With a sword and his family's shield, Link leaves Outset Island and sets out to find his sister and become the Hero Of The Winds, the Wind Waker. With the help of a boat that speaks the language of men, and the power of the mystical conductor's baton, the Wind Waker, Link must sail the Great Sea to challenge all that stands between him and his sister. This section of the review was taken from a description of the FULL game of Wind Waker. The 20 minute demo on the LOZ:CE does show you the basics of the game, but does not unearth the story. Frankly, I am disappointed in this game demo, but if you have the full game you will understand why it is an impressive game in itself. Scores The following scores apply to all four of these games: LOZ, LOZ II: AOL, LOZ: OOT, and LOZ: MM Story 10/10 Graphics 8.75/10 Controls 9/10 Soundtrack 8/10 Final Score 9/10 |

Thanks. They really should make an LOZ: Ultimate Collector's Edition... Put all the LOZ games... EVERY one of them on one disk... Maybe for the Wii? |

That is very unlikely. But What they should make is a collection wit LA, OOA, & OOS. I would so get that game. It could be for either Wii or DS. |

OK, not a bad idea... How about an LOZ Handheld Collector's Edition for DS? Incorporate the older GameBoy Legend Of Zelda games with the GBA games, and put them on a DS card that plays like a regular GameBoy game on the DS... And maybe Demo... PH?

To be honest...I wouldn't. I am not a fan of Zelda at all. I saw a bit of Twilight Princess, and most of it seemed boring to me. |
