Kirby Super Star Ultra Well, I decided to get this game because I was quite happy with Nightmare in Dream Land, and I needed a new DS game anyway.... Anyone who liked NiDL will really like this game as well. The game has even more copy powers, but unlike in the past, every copy power has at least 6 different attacks, such as stationary, jumping, dashing, and charged attacks. Another nice feature is what I'll call the "buddy system:" the ability to recruit an enemy type to help you by copying an ability and spitting it back out as a helper that follows you around. The game is divided up into several sub-stories, some that follow the classic Kirby style of gameplay while others deviate slightly to provide variation. It makes for a nice array of different challenges to play. There isn't much to be said about them without spoiling some of the game, so I won't elaborate too much. What else can be said about Kirby Super Star Ultra? It's hard to give specific details over the game as a whole. If you're a fan of Kirby games, this one will not disappoint. Gameplay: 9/10-Your standard Kirby game that's fun as usual, and the different modes increase replay value Controls: 9/10-easy to use and convenient, but as with any game the touch screen interface can be a slight hassle while trying to control a character. However, it's not too much of a problem. Graphics: 8/10-classic Kirby graphics, nothing too spazzed up from previous games except for the 3D cutscenes Music: 10/10-wow. Great soundtrack as usual, Kirby games do well in this category generally. If only Nintendo could do the same for D/P.... Storyline: 9/10-The game basically consists of a ton of mini-plots, again, what you'd expect from a Kirby game. Overall: 8/10-Pretty good, although I still could see some problems with the replay value (Yeah, I know, maybe this isn't the best review, but the nature of the game makes it somewhat hard to make your average detailed review for) Edited by Eclipse, October 17 2008, 02:42 PM.

Eh, you did a nice job on the detail without - at the same time - revealing too much about it. Besides that.. Kirby is still more of a lot of mini-games in one then a game like Pokémon, Star Wars, or even Zelda~ So... either way, it makes it a pretty hard game to describe since there is a lot of little parts instead of one big part. But you described it well enough to make me want to play (>.>) |

So did I. The Great Cave Offensive was quite annoying though -_-' |
