The wii, how i love the little white box, really i do, but sadly there are a few problems, one is online, two is controls, and three is games, while i can live with the first one the last to i need to be the best they can be, i wish the online was better, i have wireless and the only game i really play on line is Mario kart, which is a great game, but i want more of a choice of things to play on line, and the friend code, it works, yes, but it sucks, i want to flow in and out of games, the controls are great don't get me wrong but when you have a Dev make a game and just make a waggle and button it sucks we need more things that push the gaming world. there are really only a good handful of games, want a game like not the same but like gears of war, and some of the games on the 360 and even some on the ps3. what we have are a lot of hit and misses, but when they hit, its out of the park. only a 8 out of 10 |

Alright, interesting review. I might as well leave my personal opinions here:
There are actually quite a few Wifi games out currently, including Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Pokémon Battle Revolution. However, Brawl online can become extremely laggy to the point of unplayable, so yes, Wii online is not perfect. FC system may be a slight nuisance, but I've gotten used to it and it's not too much of a hassle to me.
Depends on the game. For example, I think Force Unleashed did a really good job on using the Wii's controls in a more direct, energetic way, and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption had a decent control scheme. I'm sure there are others, but either I do not know of them or I can't think of them off the top of my head.
I think Wii has as many good games as the 360 and PS3. It seems to me as just a matter of preference. For example, gamers who play more violent, online games would go with the 360/PS3, while casual gamers and others would be more attracted to Nintendo. Over the Wii's history, I've seen some pretty good games released, so I think in numerical terms Nintendo is tied with everyone else. Edited by Eclipse, December 31 2008, 05:33 PM.
