This is still my favorite rig. TLT axles (RC4WD straight adapters out back), Pede tranny (Fastlane alloy case makes it run nice and smooth), lathe motor, the usual, except for the CNC'd frame. Bling bling!![]() I just made a whole host of improvements, including narrowed Swamp Dawgs and a really sweet soft top, but don't have the pics in my Imageshack. Slide on over to Scale4x4 to see the rest of it, if you haven't already. This is the design that Unimoger based his BB-51 on. So Buster's a daddy, 100+ times. |

This is probally one of my favorite all time rigs. It's plain and simple, but still cool. If only you could find a way to soften up those tires. |

Well this has been bugging me since day one (Jan '06). I wanted some rock sliders for it, because the Bronco body keeps dragging on the rocks. So I made these; they tuck right into the body, help support it and pretty much disappear.![]() Didn't bother to paint them, cuz it won't last and I kinda like seeing the joints. I could have made the bends a little tighter, though. Maybe the next set. They bolt on using the rear upper link mounting holes, and 2 new holes in the frame up front. Also replaced the round lights on the bumper with some square ones. ![]() Old Kyosho buckets, with covers left over from the Hilux kit. |
