 Well the cheater truck did way better this time! I'm pretty happy with it's performance. It could definitely be narrower yet but I think it will hold me over until spring time comes.

I wanted to run a BEC on it so I can run 7.2v to the steering servo but decided not to because the servo on the dig setup is a traxxas crapper and I think that thing would toast on 7.2v. Might have to slap another MG995 in it to hand that.

It's definitely a different driving style than with something that has dampened suspension. When it unloads compression it can get ugly sometimes! (and take out gates unexpectedly!)

 I have my fair share of shafties in the SCALE classes :poke:

It might just have a major transformation by next comp..... It doesn't involve shafts either.

 Took the truck out to copley at lunch today. I don't know if it's the maxx masher compound or because the tires and rocks were cold but there was not much traction at all. My WK with stock mashers crawled up steeper stuff than the clod did.

hmmmmmm...

 cold tires = bad tires nick. I saw stock f-350 tires hook up at copely i wouldn't change anything based on performance in this weather.

 Good point. I guess I was to excited about getting out there with the truck and was disappointed.

Have you seen the guy on RCC that is taking claws, making them taller by putting in a 1/4 section then using lizard side walls? They look pretty friggin sweet.....
