well went and got my 72 Chev today and i love it ... and the price was right .... traded my trail xj for it straight up wow what a deal .... i had about 800.00 in the xj and it was on its last leg .... 72 body on a 79 frame body is im better than expected cond... drive train all 79 ... 350 4 bolt wit double hump 202 heads needs a cam or has a valve sticking pops through the carb ...edelbrock 650 carb needs rebuilt no big deal trans is a muncie m20 4 speed wit granny gear great shape transfer case gear driven 205 axles 14 bolt dana 60 posi out back and a 44 up front interior needs some work no biggie also need some new shoes for 800.00 that i had in my xj its a great deal ok now for some pics ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() thanks for looking watch for updates in the coming months ... matt __________________ |

Rear is a 14 bolt corp g.m. (not a dana axle) And I can't see the front axle. Could be a dana44 or a g.m. 10 bolt. Nice truck! Now go beat it off some trees!!! |
