Here we go! It's time for the new installment in Manic's storyline. (Or it will be on October 23rd!) There are all sorts of new surprises in store for our hero, including some that are just plain unfair...but hey, if you've been reading the other runs, that should be no surprise to you! I saw this thread and thought you decided to surprise us by starting early. D: I'm also curious about the spoilered rules. That first one seems an awful lot like a Dicelocke-esque rule. |

Aww I thought it was starting. Ah well, October 23 is now on my calendar. Also, is this a rom hack or a pokemon game for a different system? I tried google but couldn't find anything.

Johto, eh? We still don't know the game, so it could be Crystal, or it could be Heartgold. My bets are on him picking Cyndaquil this time, since he hasn't picked the fire starter since Kanto. Then again, the only grass starter he's used on a documented run is Snivy, so it could go either way. |

Will it be on HG/SS? Or the GB color games (GSC?) Either way those special rules look ominous to say the least. Pick Chikorita, it's the hardest starter to use, (1st 2 gyms are super effective against it in Johto). And may the odds be ever in your favor. |

This will not be a hack, I will spoil that now. It will, however, be...unusual. I have plans for things, and stuff will happen. Pokemon will die unless they don't, and some gym leaders will probably be beaten. The main character will be at a significant disadvantage at times, and at other times, he will ROFLstomp everything in his path. Some pokemon will learn HM moves, and many (but not all) of the pokemon owned by the MC will level up at least once. Items will be found, pokemon will be healed, and attacks will be used. No more than six pokemon will be on the active team at any one time. Some NPCs will talk to the MC, and at least one trainer will challenge the MC to a match. Oh, also... Spoiler: click to toggle
