If you didn't already know: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2010-...volume-in-japan I'm both sad and somewhat relieved, because while I hate for my favorite series to end, I also can't stand shounen series that drag on endlessly. I'm somewhat surprised-- it seems so sudden! And with only so many chapters left, I doubt Yoite will be getting any kind of resurrection. (Which I am glad about, though I know a lot of fans were really crossing their fingers for it.) Well, at the very least I will still have the enjoyment of waiting for all of the English releases! |

No!!! No way! Nuuuuuu..... DDDD: *not emoticon dramatic enough to show dismay* *calms down It does make sense, though. I mean, I was looking at the number of chapters and plot arcs and everything and having 80 chapters or so total seems to make sense...and that is fairly close, isn't it? TT.TT (About how many more chapters will there be, then? I really really really want Yoite to come back Now I'm wondering how on earth this'll end by then. Ending so soon, they're almost gonna have to pull out the Shinrabansho for a resolution...right? But to end before it has the time to mushroom into a huge fandom as it deserves... TT.TT Also, any word on new projects by Kamatani? The first chapter of Liberamente is the only one available on Mangafox...but it's adorable...<3 |

It confirms that Nabari is ending. And actually, it's ending next issue, which is the September issue. I'd forgotten Gfantasy issues run a month ahead. So including this month, we have two chapters. Dude, I am not prepared for this, I wanted that extra month. ;_______; Kuroshit raws for this month are out, I keep refreshing my flist hoping they'll appear soon - I have to leave in an hour and want to know what happens before I go out. Nabari is like, the one good thing to happen this week for me. /sharing too much Anyway, it says next month is the final chapter, and there will be colour pages. The rest of it seems to be sort of a summary of what's happening right now, but the way it's worded is... weird, kinda like a poem? The last bit is very roughly like "Rejecting the invitation to be endowed with the hijutsu's power, the road Miharu will walk as the King of Nabari is..." The first four lines are too abstract for my brain atm. But yeah. ;_; |

@squidduck: Totally seconded. So, out of curiosity, what will be the final chapter count? How many more have not yet been scanlated? I've lost track. >.< Also, do you think the final chapter will be extra-long? And is an epilogue likely/possible/impossible? *has never been around to see a manga actually end before XD* |

@eilonwyn: 72? I think? 70 was last month's chapter, right? I've never really been around to see a manga's end, either XD; but I hope it's as long as it needs to be |

AHHHUAAUAHAHH?? TWO LEFT!? Nabari no Ou is so unfortunate...gets no love and it's one te best series ever...AND it only gets a 2 month ending notice. ;_____; I can only be a tad curious as to what Kamatani will do... It didn't need to last forever...but it's too short! |

................ OTL D-Denial....denial....denial......*slowly breaking down into tears*....denial....denial.....denial.... It's not like I haven't seen a manga end (FMA and Inuyasha and Shaman King), b-but...this....so shortly after FMA....my heart can't take this....*cries in a corner* B-But, if Square said it directly.....>________________________< *sniffles and wipes tears* Yes, right now there are 70 chapters with this month being the 71st. I suppose I'll take this moment to inform ya'll that even though Nabari is ending, we as a group intend to loyally follow and scanlate whatever Kamatani produces, but we'll also be picking up other series and doujin. This month we've picked up Soul Eater (by popular demand, or so Saku tells me). |

*joins the sob fest* It just seems so short :( How are they going to cover everything in just a few more chapters? Hmm hopefully the last will be extra long or something. And Yoite...he needs to come back. No, he WILL come back. Yes I'm certain of it. *sniffle* *continues to sob* |

I just hope to see another long series from Kamatani soon. I really adored her characters in NnO, so I can't wait to fall in love with more of her creations. Long last chapter or not, I can easily picture the series wrapping up easily as it is right now. I mean, Fuuma was revealed to be the Ultimate Big Bad/Mastermind/HE DID IT!/whatever of the series in what, chapter 68? After that reveal, there aren't that many other loose strings lying around. (Except for WHAT HAPPENED TO RAIKOU AND GAU AND RAIMEI?! Last I recall, they were about to have their asses handed to them. Did I miss something?) My manga reading soul despairs about the fact that NnO is ending so soon after FMA. (Though, the FMA ending was so thoroughly satisfying for me that I couldn't even be sad when it was over, LOL. Seriously, I think that was the first time that I was actually happy with the ending of a long series. CAN KAMATANI MATCH THAT? I'll find out in two months apparently.) My collector's soul also despairs that it is ending at 14 volumes. (FOURTEEN?! Why couldn't it be FIFTEEN, that's such a more aesthetically pleasing number...) Anyways, no use crying over spilled milk and all that. I hope to see scanlatons soon~! (Though obviously y'all are busy, especially if you are also picking up Soul Eater. Good luck with that! And if you are still looking into new projects, I beg you to pick up Loveless. Poor series hasn't had a proper scanlation release since March and no groups have stepped up to save it yet. Kind of surprising considering its sizable popularity.) And speaking of things ending, OneManga has announced that they are going to be removing ALL scanlations from their site VERY SOON. So if you are reading something there, I suggest you hurry up... |

I remember hearing somewhere that Kamantani was illustrating some story about a bird, but I forgot the details. Hopefully that will draw some attention to her artwork. |
