Played By: Gyl Other Characters: Professor Ward, Archux, Mel Brookes, Nathaniel Tenebrae, Everhart Mayfield the basics Name: Frederika Dietrich Age: Couple of centuries Species: Vampire Years Teaching/On Staff: This is her first on staff. Model: Dietrich appearance Frederika is deathly pale with a shock of red hair and blue eyes. She is naturally lean but not model skinny, she's from a time when women were seen as attractive with wider hips and that is what she has. She's got a beautiful rear end. She was turned before her looks started to fade...in fact she was probably at the height of her beauty. She was an awkward teenager and when she got to adulthood it all seemed to fall into place. She also stands at nearly 6 feet...her fangs are small and they on peek out whens he smells blood which at the school is more often then not. But she doesn't bother hiding them from the students...she only ever did it with the humans. Her uniform is elegant and simple and black with a single white cross just above where her heart is. It is very sensible but what she wears beneath is not. She wears fishnets with the tips of her garters peeking through and shoes with spiked heels that should send someone toppling but Dietrich if required can run in them. the past Dietrich is old...a couple of centuries old born in a small Bavarian town. She was trained as a medicine lady and did pretty well considering. Her remedies were sought far and wide and she could name all the local herbs as well as identify them. She was capable of curing and killing...and she killed more then a few times when she thought it was for the best. The idea of playing a God never appealed to her but that is exactly what she'd do...she chose who lived and who died. Who her time was best suited for and who were a hopeless case...if it was that she'd put them out of their misery quickly. She met the vampire in a rather uneventful way...she met him when he was feeding off one of her sicker patients. One she knew wouldn't have survived the week but hadn't yet gotten around to brewing the tea...she was unsurprised to learn what he was going. Though lips stained red she had nothing but curiosity and already that detached way of seeing the world...inspecting the vampire she asked what he was doing exactly. After getting her answer she asked that he change her...the change was painful and when she came to finally she found the world a new place. She left her small Bavarian village and took to the world...hungry for knowledge and those like her. She had a difficult time surviving the first few years of her change. It was still a time of superstition and more then once she'd been run out of a village accused of being a witch and sometimes even what she was, a vampire. As the years passed she found that medicine still attracted her attention the most. As each new marvel and treatment came about she was there, studying it and experiencing it. When lobotomies were common practice she was there performing them in front of crowds of well dressed gentlemen for their entertainment as well as 'knowledge'. ...autopsies, surgery, the treatment of war wounds (dare you to ask which side she supported)...she's done it all through out her years. But as wars died down as...medicine started to know too much she was forced to to pull away from the public medical field. She was too good, everything was too perfect and her patients went through more pain then was necessary...it'd draw attention she did not want. She'd survived by keeping a relatively low profile and this is when becoming a nurse in schools drew her attention. It was...mediocre to say the least and tedious. The school nurses had no respect she soon learned...but by instilling a sense of fear and pain...she found that that respect could be earned. The opening for the Nurse position at Oddhart was a surprise, she'd been turned down for the position before...the job had gone to another but that same man she'd lost the job too had now left and she once again applied. Frederika had more then enough medical experience but the social skills...they were there, she just chose not to use them. the present If you come to the nurses office to skip classes you're in for disappointment. Not only will you get a strict telling up but corporal punishment might also be administered. Dietrich is from an old school of discipline, she grew up with physical punishment and thinks that in the world of today it's too lax and such measure should be implemented once again. However she is aware such things are illegal but still...she gets her perks elsewhere...if there is a scrape she will use the antiseptic that stings the most and isn't afraid to scrub at a wound to get out the grit...however as cruel as she might seem she does her job very well. She's skilled to the point where not being a called a doctor is merely because she doesn't want the title. She'd effective if a student truly is in critical condition and needs serious treatment. She will administer it with the same cool facade she has every other day under every other situation. She is known for her unemotional approach to medicine and her patients. This is the only way she feels it can truly be practiced but f pushed far enough she is likely to explode and the outcome is far from...pleasant. Edited by Professor Ward, Feb 28 2011, 11:25 AM.
