The Gazette is the local newspaper that serves Colsford. 90% of it is adverts, with the rest containing what could loosely be called news.

It is on the Echo Estate that Trinity Tower is located. A grimy, run down estate, it never the less has an eclectic populace.

Located on the outskirts of Colsford, Blackwater University is a sprawling campus comprising state-of-the-art technology next to centuries old architecture. In late 2008, a fire destroyed the oldest part of the University and it has never quite been the same.

The centre of Colsford is a mixture of old buildings and new shopping centres. Constantly dirty and regularly crowded, the Town Centre is a bustling hive of activity constantly.

Brite Street is home to the majority of the nightclubs of Colsford. There are many clubs, but not that much variety. Three clubs stick out; Major Tom's, which has a reputation for violence, Twisted Legends, a club for metalheads and rockers and Duke Pepper, a members-only strip club.
