Alright. I decided to put all of my thoughts for a game I thought I'd program when I grow up, since I will be majoring in video game programming in college. This is what I have so far:

The game will be an MMO, fantasy medieval. (?)

The combat system will consist of not just attacks and defense, but actual body parts. If someone slashes at your right arm, but you just jumped, they will miss. If you fire a gun and they strafe left, they might miss, etc. This applies to skills too.

Every weapon has a condition, broken-> Rusted/old (Depending on metal content)-> Unpolished-> Polished-> Pristine->Enchanted/Glorious.

The blades on bladed weapons will effect the attacks the user does. For example, a jagged edge is more likely to do more damage than a straight edge, however it is slower due to aerodynamics (A little bit slower) and can get stuck in your opponent's body, leaving you open to attack.

Spellcasting will be mobile but will have a start up time, during tha time you can STILL move.

I need recommendations on classes, spells, factions, armor, or all of the above. None of this is final, and I really want to hear all of your ideas. Ideas for the perfect MMO that you'd all play. Maybe one day your name will be in the "Special thanks to:". :D
