Sellyn: Age: Late teens, early adulthood Height: 5'4'' Wieght: 130 lbs Physical Characteristics: Sellyn puts appearance above most things, and it shows. Her hair, a light-blonde, is always neatly kept, but dangled over one eye for the most part. Despite military regulations, she normally applies makeup. Her facial features are that of a prim and proper woman, one whom prefers the way she looks over the person talking to her. Like the others, she bears the armor of the Allians, but modified, given that they normally weren't meant for women to wear. Unlike her comrades, she carries no travel pack, nor bears the sword and shield. Instead, she carries an aged, single barrel flintlock pistol, holstered near her hip. Along with a small bag of ammunition, powder, shot, etc. Demeanor: For the most part, she acts with disdain for most people, unless she holds them close as a friend. A quintessential noble, Sellyn believes that she is above most people, and holds that philosophy close. Despite this, she takes her duties somewhat seriously, viewing them as an honor that has been bestowed upon her family. Background: Sellyn grew up in a rather rich family, that lived within the Allian capital in the skies. A life of luxury, and pampering, she knew little of the ways of a normal person's life. Practicing the arts of a woman expected of her, she lived for the sole purpose of keeping the honor of the family sacred. As time went on, she grew up, continuing her ways. As the time came, where the government changed to that of a republic, her family quickly adapted to maintain its position of power. When the Republic passed laws establishing a series of freedoms, her family made the decision of putting her in a career in the military. Something extremely taboo at the time, given that previously, women were not allowed to hold positions like that. Despite this, she took this decision in stride, doing her best to prepare herself for it, and act in accordance with expectations of her by the military. Through proper manipulation, her family secured her a rather cozy position, as a simple guard aboard an airship bound to track down fugitives. |
