Baeldre: Age: Early adulthood Height: 5'6'' Wieght: 155 lbs Physical Characteristics: Baeldre could be seen as a typical grease monkey, always covered in dirt, oil stains, or various other messes associated with his job as engineer. Despite this, his face has a grin plastered on it, regardless of who he is talking to. At normal hieght, he is rather stocky, and well built for those of his kind. Baeldre's hands are covered in burns, scars, and trophies of prior accidents he had pulled himself out of in the nick of time. His hair is spiked up, and a light shade of red, pulled away from his face and neck for the most part. In regards to clothing, he tends to prefer simple clothing that is easy to replace, such as short sleeve shirts, and heavy leather pants. Despite this, he always uses the same pair of work boots, having kept them for his entire career as an engineer. Demeanor: A happy-go-lucky type, Baeldre always does his best to keep those around him smiling. Going out of his way to provide a helping hand, Baeldre is the ship's good-samaritan, doing what he can to keep the ship, and it's crew, in one piece. He acts the same towards the entire crew, be it stranger, officer, or low rank. At times, he can be a bit eccentric, but he does it with good intent. A hard worker, he always tries to find something to do, or something to fix. Seldom does he stay in one place for long. Background: Baeldre grew up in a well-to-do, but not quite rich, family. Putting him through the best schools his family could afford resulted in an expansive mind, that Baeldre used to the best of his ability. He quickly became known for his ability to get a crippled hulk flying again in no time, and the military took interest in this. Assigning him to ships that saw heavy fighting, he saved more than a few lives with his quick thinking, and skillful practice of the engineering trade. This continued throughout his service, and even through the death of the Emperor. Well connected, he can tell what is going on, as well as where, and who. He doesn't let these connections get to his head, however, preferring instead to focus on the jobs at hand. When an opporunity arose for an engineer to accompany a crew on a fugitive locating mission, Baeldre jumped at the opportunity. |
