Hmm. I haven't played in awhile, but I'm going to have to stick with my recent discovery, y'know, CoTM Elune and all that. Can't really believe HRP is still popular, but at least Dobrp is meeting its well deserved end. O_o |

Heck yea, DoBRP is finally dying, it's not as good as everyone think it is, and what the hell is that Anathema map?! Can it be anymore desperate to save itself? Anathema seriously utterly destroyed the DoBRP name. I change my choices due to recent events: 1)HRP/CotM (Units in HRP still remain in some CotM bug fixed maps, CotM fixed alot of HRP's bug problems in Cityscape and the likes. 2)ERP (Heroes and SFXs) 3)DoBRP (It's DoBRP, just got used to it.) |

I'm going to say I like HRP the best because I play it the most (more recently), I think. I like DoBRP, as well. I am not sure of the others, though. |

It was but to me, it just feels like it was a dead man's shot to keep DoBRP alive. I think the new DoBRP team is Champion, Ironhand, GhostWeaver, and BaronVonShnider. Though they told me not to say anything, my ties to them are broken. The New DoBRP 9 = LoDRP 1 -Zerp Edit: Yes Naz, Anathema sucks. |

:D I know Anathema sucks, I dont care that it sucks; what bothers me is that it is noobish, and totally ruined the DoBRP name. It is ONLY good for future, and the terrain is simply idiotic. I hope these guys never try to fix good maps like Philo to stupid maps like Anathema. BTW, cant wait 'till LoDRP comes out, they worked over it a long long long long time, so it's gotta be good, and if it isn't... Well... No more DoBRP team maps for me, they disappointed me once and never again!! |

I saw a glimpse of terrain for LoDRP and I have to say, it was pretty neat but not exactly the most RPish terrain ever. More like for an RPG, though I'm sure many of you would disagree. Stick with LoR/SotDRP :lol: . It'll have a completely better trigger system and a lot of bugs fixed, as well as many classical things like the footman helmet, wooden shield, etc. Fact: HRP and the other maps have at least 2,000 useless variables that create lag. DoBRP was already dead a long time ago, and with Baron leaving WC3 plus the entrance of the AoM brand (I don't think I've seen anything else made by this person) its probably safe to say that the Draike/Baron saga of mapping is offically dead. I think the only thing that will probably live on are the corrections made by the mapmakers and the triggers implemented throughout the various DoB maps.
Champ & Free are doing a majority of the work nowadays I hear, and I heard awhile ago that Baron did his dramatic 'leave forever' speech (Finally!), and I don't really know the specifics of Ironhand & Ghost's involvement in the map. Please for the love of everything that is holy just let DoB die. I've never really understood why people enjoy that brand so much, but I've met some of the people involved over the years, played the maps, and it has never been anything to scream over. I guess publicity and the entrance of WoW to draw the majority of mappers away is great for business?? I'm hoping that LoDRP.. if it ever gets made.. will be the beginning of something new, as opposed to the alternative. Baron & Draike have had their named dipped into the proverbial pot of honey for too long, there needs to be an end and a beginning of something new... at least until SC2 hits the floor. :lol: |

I'm looking foreward to the new RPing maps. Philo and pRP are mostly what I play, And I hate Anathema! HATEIT! Though, if I do find an RP on the wayward pubby net, It will be Anathema. To me...Playing Cityscape/Anathema maps just...Don't work, I can't find anywhere to build. Even champ admits it (In my defense, it was completed in 1 week - Champ) |

I like Cotm the most just because I like its terrain, always easy to use and its not 70% water like PRP, and also not as buggy as HRP Philo. I always prefer the classic cotm 1.1 |

I like HRP, simply because of it's ability to control players who left. If they could also make it include empty slots, it would be even better! :D |
