I've tried this story numerous times in Ootr *cough..hack..wheeze* epics and I'm thinking of transferring it to a clan-wide text rp. This is by far the second weirdest thing I've been able to churn out in terms of my written work, but if you guys enjoy reading it I might give it a shot again. I'll go from character to character to give you the low-down, but its recommended that everyone remember's the theme that should be apparent with this saga. Name: Jericho Oz Profession: Time Traveler Age: 24 Race: Human Description: Often a mystery fit for a Doctor Who re-run, Jericho traveled to the past searching for something in particular for a mission to save or fight the future. Armed with two machete-like blades, a bracer with the ability to control the flow of time, and alien armor etched and made from his tribe, Jericho finds that everything around him is running out except for time. ----------- Name: Boris "Bor" Adalesh, Warlord of the Gor Horde Profession: Barbarian Lord Age: 36 Race: Human Description: Enamored by the support of over a hundred nomadic clans, this warchief plans to lead his Horde out of the frigid wastelands of the north and scour the southern land, ripe for the pillaging. It isn't apparent to what the direct motive Bor has for leading his scourge across the globe, but some historians suspect that he has not worked alone towards this goal. Although Bor stands as the testament to the Gor's power, the horned helm that shadows his sun-burnt face and cloaked appearance is daunting in the battlefield, none who have ever met him in combat have ever lived to tell the tale. ----------- Name: Katrina Rodrieguez Profession: Engineer Age: 25 Race:Human Description: Little is known about this woman except from what Jericho chooses to share about her. Obviously lovers, the two operate off-grid from their local government and are considered terrorists by their people. Seperated by time and space, Jericho and Katrina still some how find ways to guide each other's hand in order to complete their mission. ----------- Name: The Grinning One Profession: Warlord Age: Unknown Race: Ogre Description: A new threat rising among the eastern lands, The Grinning One was dubbed such a nickname due to his mutilated and frightening face that always seems to be contorted in a grin. Gaining support from local bandits and thieves, this warlord seems to have been wronged by Bor in some way and will not stop until he has bolstered his forces enough to take on the rival horde and crush it under his stony fist. Little is known about this ogre other then he was once known as Kagaral, a hermit that served as a shaman and voice of the Underworld. Whatever seems to have possessed this enraged behemoth to lead a band of thieves is unknown even to the higher powers, but somehow they are moving southwest towards the ripe, unprotected kingdoms that serve as the bulk of human society. ---------------- Name: Ragnar The Lion Profession: Ex-Knight Age: 109 Race: Giant Serving as the common denominator between the two barbarian hordes, Ragnar is part of a circle of ritualistic warriors bent on protecting what is left of mankind. Famous for his ebony mane, the ivory-hued giant has skewered and cut down every threat that has encountered his domain he was charged to protect. Although Ragnar quit knighthood years ago, he is bound by oath to uphold law and order within the southern lands, even if he is to draw the blood of his own in order to protect them. Having disappeared months later, Ragnar left the eastern fringe of the Enagik kingdom vulnerable to the wrath of the Grinning One. Little is known as to why he disappeared, although the Tanar Hills seem to rumble and shake now adays, for whatever reason. --------------------- Name: Idraya Ka Age: Unknown Race: Human Profession: Thief Description: Drifting through the passage of time, the rumors of a black woman springing from a mystical wooden ring have stretched into the stuff of legends. Idraya was once free to roam the land as the most feared bandit of her time, and it was often told that she was jilted into becoming enslaved as a genie by greed and intention on slaying a treacherous lover. There is mystery surrounding this woman through and through, but what is documented often in the legends is the warning to becareful what you wish for in her presence. ------------ Name: Boone Age: Unknown Race: Unknown Profession: Wayfarer Description: Given the nature of this man, there have been words of caution written on every sign in every crossroad in the land warning of the diabolic Boone. Although many suspect his powers come from a demonic nature, the man known as Boone has been steeped in lore since the invention of the road. According to some, there is a certain phrase and ritual someone must perform in order to witness this man in the flesh, but none who have ever met him have lived 763 days later. This curse is steeped in further mystery, but it seems that Boone has the ability to make deals with his victims, taking bodies parts in exchange for earthly delights. One source has told locals in Arnel that the man named Boone resembles that of a modern day gangster, his weird alien look is flanked by the scar stretching down the length of his face. ----- Thats it for now.
