They are both good, though, the altered ones backround, the beach and the tree are a little blury, and i think it was better unaltered, BUt the rest of the altered one is great, it all depends on the time of day, and the context however. Though, i dont see where the shadow on the bridge came from there is nothing that i see that could make that type of shadow, in the picture. Nonetheless i think the second one loks more realistic in the foreground then the unaltered one.

I'm going to have to blame that on incomptence on my part. In game, there's an option that basically is called Depth of Field. It tries to draw attention towards something by making a field of blur up to a certain point. I probably shouldn't have used it for either of em. xP

My point was not that bluring is a bad thing, but that there is too much blur, it is causeing it to look like someone with bad long range eye sight heh. A little bluring helps put the focus on the foreground, for example if you put your hand infront of your face, and stare at it, the backround becomes a little blured. Well with good vision anyways.

The altered version's a lot darker than the unaltered and in both she has something on her cheek that I have made out to be a Band-aid. I'm not sure which I think is better, though, I like how the first one was when I first saw it, so I guess I like the unaltered version better.

I'd go for the Altered one, looks far mroe realistic in terms of shading.
