Don't count on me dropping out, I'm seeing this through to the end, come Hell or High Water. =P
My blacklist for custom games extends to private matters only, the only people who brought this into the clan were Lakart because he wanted someone to make me take him off it and Crazy, yes Crazy, who brought up booting him from the clan because I had him blackballed. Albeit I have personal grudges against certain clan members or guests, the only people who have to worry about protection are the guests. I won't mix my private affairs and clan business unless a kick or a ban is required, and the only people I've seen so far that need a good ass kicking are Stephen (Proof) and Blackwolf_ (Whitewolf_). So, relax. =P
I'm going to clarify this right now. When you have the power to kick and ban somebody, you use it. You can pretend to be the better man/woman, turn the other cheek, or whatever some of you folks need to lie to yourself in order to think your doing the right thing, so be it. I kick, and I ban. Plain and simple. I'm not going to lie about it, I'm not going to sugercoat it, and I'm not going to spoon feed any of you some political bullshit so I can get nominated and elected. So to put it simply: If you want to pretend and think you'll be alright if you make the safe choice, vote for Admiral. If you have the balls to admit to yourself that we need someone limber and whose going to be honest of his intentions to clean up the channel and maintain some order when Osh isn't available to sort out petty squabbles, then vote for me. It's not rocket science. |

I wonder if you have a tendancy to misread text, or maybe it's my tendancy to... Carefully word what i say, but i never did say i would never boot and or kick. My words were
Which shows that i will not Abuse the power, not leave it Unused. Just because i won't go randomly booting people even if "Some" people find it "Needed"
An example of my use of power is not only my 60 access, but also my hosting. Not only my hosting of any game, where i can kick people out, but also of ingame in RPs. I often have the power to kick or timeout people. I use the timeout feature for a simple reason... to keep the people quiet for a minute, i have booted one single person out of a game in 3-5 years of RPing, all the others... i have reasoned with until they cooperated. I use the power wisely, if i find that someone is being rude, or disrespectful to either the clan, or its members, then i will take action. I reason with people, and use banning and kicking as a last resort, words are power, and i use that over the power of the badger. Or as it was said one Eilt Druin (Or something similar) "Through Knowledge, Power", and that is the True way of being a Shaman, solving probelms with knowledge and words, not through force. Words are the shaman's ultimate tool, that is where the Full-Power of the Shaman comes in. |

Well Oz, what you said kinda applies to me too, I will keep the order in the clan, yet I will never ban/boot clannies unless they cross the line, and crossing the line means getting the whole channel pissed. And I never said I'm not going to USE my power, I said I'm not going to abuse it. My "Definition" of power abuse is banning for no reason, kicking for no reason, kicking or banning just to have fun. Oz, seeing you as a Shaman might be cool... But, due to what you said, honestly, I doubt you will be picked. And, Oz, I'd act like Osh, get to the bottom of things before pulling out the ban/kick stick, I doubt you would. Honesty's important, I hate liars, so I'm not one myself. I know when to sugarcoat things when I do not want to offend people I care about, but no offense, there are only a handful of people I care about on BNet.
Oh yea, you're right man, definetly, I've had many problems that Osh had solved for me, or helped me solve it, MANY times, Saber aswell, Roth and Tarak too. I'd help people solve their petty squabbles aswell, but I gotta warn you all, I don't take kindly to outsiders, if you are not in the clan, and go over the line, and spam the living shit outa the clan channel or harras a clanmate, expect a ban. If you want to see these things done, seriously, pick Oz or me. It's up to you to figure out who is the lesser "Evil" :P Keep in mind one last thing: Don't vote on who is your FRIEND, vote on who will get the job done, vote on who seems most trustworthy, and vote on the one who won't be off for eternity, I try, and succeed on being on as much as I can, I've been on ALOT lately, but, when school will start I will have to be on alot less. If you need help, in any way, not only if I will be a "Shaman", in any way, to talk or something, I'm here, that's just for knowledge, doesn't matter who you are, doesn't matter whether I hate you, or you hate me, or we squabble all the time (And don't you dare compare that to Oz and me, I AM NOT MARRIED TO HIM! :P) I am here. |

Naz, if your not going to be on much, then why exactly do you want to run aside from the standard stuff? The whole reason this started was to get active people who are on on a regular basis. And don't forget, Osh is establishing a guideline that people after the election have to follow and that new shamans are on probation for a week. It's great that your trying to help, Naz, but do we really need another empty seat? |

I've actually been on alot more, only this past week I wasn't because I had 5 assignments to do, 2 quizes and a test to study to... Anyways, my school's on strike for like 3 months or so, so I'll be on, ALOT. And even if I won't be, even if there IS school, when I'll be Shaman I'll have another reason why to come on other than hang around with friends and stuff, so I will probably be on alot more, all I gotta do is wait for the "New game month" obsession to pass, and I'm back to WC3 (New game = Medieval 2) So don't worry about my inactivity Oz. Thanks anyways for worrying :P |

Seeing as in the time since the news of Shaman elections came to fruition i have been unable to enact time to be on warcraft, and my askance to have the vote moved a day ahead have been ignored, i will have to be vacant from the vote. However i would much prefer it to still be privileged to have the opportunity to run for the position even if unable to be on during the vote. Seeing as we have 3 other candidates, i would hope that they and others would be honourable enough to allow me the chance to run while not being in the game itself. Otherwise i will have to withdraw from the elections. Good luck to all that run today. |

Eh, not that much of a race. More like a jog. The people who wanted change weren't there, and tradition holds. Didn't know we held it on the anniversy of the clan though, was neat. Didn't really enjoy the way the votes ended, however. But, such is life. ;) |
