Posts: 142 Group: Members Member #58 Joined: November 21, 2007	I would love to keep it on WC, However. 1. Worldfold is stubborn, and for some unknown reason would rather keep it on SC. 2. How the hell are we suppose to save and load? It always gets corrupted. And dont say bang a map out in 1 sitting, because its impossible. Someone always has to go or whatever. If you have any more comments, or ideas, please let me know.

I never said anythign about saving and loading. 3.Why don't you do two? Do one with your Worldfold and others on Starcraft, and one with the people on Warcraft?

Posts: 142 Group: Members Member #58 Joined: November 21, 2007	Yes, I realize you never said anything about saving and loading. However, it is a huge issue that -must- be addressed. If you cant load your work, its not worth continueing. If you dont have SC, thats one thing, and I will gladly figure something you. However, I also feel that the game on which we RP should not matter. Personally, Roleplaying to me is not about how well you can make a town or whatever look to your eyes, but rather to your mind. In that regard, why does everyone hate SC so much? You can do all of the same things.

However, for something taking place in medieval times its makes sense to do it with a program that contains medieval units. I have Starcraft, it just seems unreasonable to install it for a a single rp, which can easily be done on Warcraft, and with Starcraft 2 coming out this year, if I remeber right, the end of August.

Posts: 142 Group: Members Member #58 Joined: November 21, 2007	Like I had said Admiral, It shouldnt be the model or game style that dictates the Rp. But rather ones imagination. Anyway... I am all for doing this on WC, but there are just such large problems in Saving / Loading. Incase you have not noticed, the files always seem to go corrupt. But please, if you have a way to fix this or whatever, I would love to hear it.

Alterity of the World Posts: 393 Group: Members Member #21 Joined: June 12, 2007	If I remember correctly the FL series contains saving and loading triggers, I haven't used them much myself. The FL series is unknown to most, but was an early day map, which is now hard to find. It contained many custom models, but didn't have the brown spawning box, so no one liked it. FL series contains "Frozen Lands" "Farm Lands" "Forgotten Lands" and 2 more. That may solve your problems, if not, well... Maybe someone else has a better idea.

I am hopping it will be a Text this time around, but I really can't say for sure. Hard to find a good medium (Other then SC) That people will actually play. (Seriously folks, there is nothing wrong with SC aside from the Graphics. And it's an old ass game anyway.) Questions? Comments? Concerns? Alterity of the World Posts: 393 Group: Members Member #21 Joined: June 12, 2007	Welcome back Bloody, there isn't much wrong with Starcraft, other then the fact that if you are going to imagine swords, don't have a guy using a gun. There are some limits to what you should do with imagination, and a power armour wearing, gun wielding marine isn't the same as a Old man with a cane and magic spells heh. Thats like reading a book on Sci-Fi to have a good read on an Ancient Roman Fantasy heh. Its easier to have imagination work when it comes along with what you see, hense why we have pictures for a cover of most books. I'm fine with text myself, and will glady join back up, although I will need a reminder on Zerk, as I can only barely remeber much about him. Again welcome back, and hope to rping soon! :D
