What truly is a purpose? -Their lifespan, eternity. -Their birthplace, The Kingdom of Strife. -Their ways, your death. Sylvos Kizar Birthplace: The Kingdom of Strife Age: Lost track at twelve thousand Race: Delkei Average Apparel: Silk black cloak wrapped around a suit of white, gold-crested armor. Weaponry: Dahlzok, Delkei Runeblade, easily five feet in length. Status: Exiled Father's View: Sylvos, heh, he was a great kid. . . Went through the war academy in. . . Three years. . ? Well, anyway, he just went and signed up for the military at that time. Crazy kid, his eyes were whiter than the moon, too. Allllways searching for a new purpose. I asked him this, "What are you going to do when they send you home?" He merely shrugged, put on his helmet, and left for his squad. Then. . . Everything changed. . . That question came up again, he came home, threw a fit, punched a hole through the wall. Tried to calm him down. . . Next thing I know. . . Kel's dead. . . He went and killed his own mother. . . How such a sweet kid could turn into some monster was beyond me. . . I threw him out, left only his blade with him. That was the last time I saw that boy. . . Commanding Officer's View: Sylvos. . ? The runt? He's an overly-cocky fool, his smile overcompensates for his strength. First question I asked him was, "What is your definition of strength?" He merely smiled and shrugged. Two years, I kept him in my squad, he nearly killed another soldier. . . I had no choice to end him home. What did you expect me to do? Rike Kizar Birthplace: Somewhere north of Strife. Age: Six thousand five hundred seventy-six. Race: Delkei Average Apparel: All wolf-hide leather and a silk cloak Weaponry: None Status: Abandoned Vixyn Kizar Birthplace: Far west of Strife Age: Twenty Six Race: Delkei Average Apparel: All cloth and a silk cloak Weaponry: None Status: Abandoned Kalvarak Bloodfury Birthplace: Unknown Age: Three hundred fifty-six thousand nine-hundred seventy-two. Race: Delkei Average Apparel: None. Eccentric. Weaponry: All blades. Status: Grand General of Strife. The Kingdom of Strife Such a wonderful place. Oh Strife, oh Strife, Where they give you a life. . . . . .The birth place of many. A life to fill, With wars and ills. . . . . . . . . . . . And the dying place of more. But never here, Where they never appear. . . . . . .Always seeming so peaceful. But one can never leave, For the axes always cleave. . . . . .But all wars start here. And the gates of Strife, Open to one single life. . . . . . . . . And this one man comes out victor. A Story of Enmity: The Kingdom of Strife Page 76. The start of the end of an everlasting war. . . . The victor of the last war: Kalvarak Bloodfury, proudly took up the general's sword. The king, Zorden, remained in his throne and appointed full military control to Kalvarak. Instantly, patrols were started, jails were filled up, and not one crime was filed to the guards since then. . . Page 238. Money well spent. . . . After a seven year project, twenty new cell blocks have opened the day of the third moon, year 76 A.C. (After the Creation of Strife). Murmurs of doubt started, cells started to fill up, it stopped. The next day Zorden was to give a speech about a new construction project. . . Page 399 Expansion. . . . A four year war, won by Kalvarak Bloodfury, leading the soldiers, properly named Guardians of Strife. For weeks after, celebration, and the strong stench of alcohol was in the air. Kalvarak had conquered yet another city, more importantly, a farmland. A few weeks after celebrating, the patrols started weeding out all resistance, and Strife and enmity grew once more. . . Page 576 The Everlasting War . . . Some will say nothing lasts forever. Some will say nothing is impossible. Some will even say there is nothing beyond life. The Guardians of Strife donned pitch black plate on the evening of the Seventeen Moon, 275 A.C. The shadows cling to them like flies to the light. They eyes have turned to shadows, and now some say that another war has just begun. Page 792 A Sudden Prohibition . . . Strife has never been a quite joyous place. But, children have always found a way to entertain themselves. Not anymore. Kalvarak's seventeenth speech, forbids any child to be in the military district, or anywhere near the cell blocks. Two years later, all unauthorized personnel are forbidden to be anywhere in the barracks or the cell blocks. All visitors are persecuted. Page 1524 Insanity? . . . The year is 2732 A.C., the civilians are rebelling. The Guardians of Strife are doing nothing. Yet Kalvarak is no where to be found. One month later. The city is a silent. The Guardians have an aura of fear around them, every time they step down a road, every person hides in their residency. Insanity. . ? The end of logic is here. Reality, is no more. . . Ripped out Page XtP A Warning. . . . To all those who dare read this book, your eyes shall go black, your ears shall fall off, your blood shall turn to stone. Stay away from Strife, and the eternal war will never enter your mind. . . A List of Wars: Mental Rememberance -The First War: 12 B.C. : Loss --Properly named, it was the very first war, fought by the Rebels of Strife against the existing military. -TAKEOVER: 4 B.C. : Victory --The Rebels finally took down the military, led the their general, Zorden. -The "Last" War: 0 B.C. : Victory --Precalimed the last due to the final destruction of the barracks, capital, and prisons. Led by Kalvarak Bloodfury, who was then promoted to Grand General. -The First Defense: 2 A.C. : Landslide Victory --Not much of a war, if you think about it. In less than two hours, Strife's #1 enemy came upon its walls and were slaughtered before they reached the gates. -Expansion: 3 A.C ~ : ~~~~~~~ --Led by Kalvarak, the Guardians of Strife charge out, seizing all the land, properly naming anywhere out of the capital fortress, the Fields of Enmity. Navigator's journal: Found outside the jail cells. Strife. Founded: Unknown. Size: Too vast to measure. Civilian tendencies: Staying indoors. Military tendencies: Many patrols. Many stationary. One cell block every square mile. Government: Militarily controlled. Current patrol locations: Be- Journal is empty beyond this point Armory Checklist: Found in the armory. Weaponry Blades: Simple longswords, daggers. Steel. Polearms: Spears, lances, halberds. Steel, ivory. Axes: Pole-axes, great-axes, simple axes. Steel, ivory. Other weaponry: Claws, staves, maces, flails. Steel, iron, ivory. Armory Plate: Single, double, triple layered. Steel. Mail: Chain-link, ring-link. Steel Leather: Bear, wolf, other creature hides. Important Events -Kalvarak promoted to Grand General -Prisons Constructed -Walls brought up -Guardians Rearmed -The Night of No Moon: Directly related to the closing of the King's council, and the banning of sorcery. -King's Council Closed -Sorcery Outlawed I'll add more when my boredom returns. I would be pleased to read more before making a desicion. But I think I would glady join in if a rp comes underway. However, keep up the good work.
