This is the Website for my Mecha Empire! Somethings you should know! (Link at bottom? Maybe? Read the notices and you might find out!) 1.) I do not want you people mass spamming the forums on it, freewebs only allows a certain amount of storage space and the website is not complete yet. 2.) I got tired of not having a set storyline when I role play my Empire so this website should solidify it. 3.) Read the !Warning! tab! Anything with !(name)! is IMPORTANT so bloody look at it. 4.) I don't give a damn if you don't like my Empire because "lawl u use marines, neb." We rp Fantasy and No Theme rps! The definition of Fantasy is: A.) Imagination, especially when extravagant and unrestrained. B.) An imaginative or fanciful work, especially one dealing with usupernatural or unnatural events or characters. This means my Mecha Empire is allowed in our rps due to that rule! 5.) My Empire is not God-Mod, yes they have power suits, guns, airships/airplanes, submarines, missles, underwater cities and mecha. But, they DO NOT have magic, which by what I have seen everyone in this darn clan has. Hense, stop being stupid and saying "OMG, u haz gunz, u godmod!" and f**king think! You can use magic to slow time. Use it to hurl boulders. Use it to toss the Marine around. It's like bloody fighting the Strom Troopers with "The Force." Mecha has technology, you people have magic. Deal with it, BE SMART. 6.) Pestering Freelancer about the website he so politely made for me and is maintaining for me is not wanted, and I will consult authorities (Osh2 and Dageoffant.) on how this clan treats people of the clan. I don't care if it is a joke, I don't care if you didn't mean anything by it. DO NOT DO IT 7.) Freelancer whom is helping me make this website is also making a better version of our RP World Map and will be posting it on our website. 8.) This website is only going to be here as a pre-website to the one Freelancer is going to be making using one of his programs. 9.) The Forums on the website are closed for now and will be opened later. 10.) If you do find it, do not spam or make snide comments on Ageofthewolf's website. She decided to make one after she learned I was making one with Lancer's help. 11.) Do not make any snide comments on this post or on the forums of our website, I know you people, you can't resist "Making a joke". But, I do not deal with that shit, so don't do it. Also, for you Dageoffant. Osh2 told me to post in this area of the forums. Move it to where you like. Are you actually trying to lawyer your way into finding a loophole to use an RP idea? Talk about overthinking it. You'd be fine if you just told people to go bugger off. An idea is an idea, and there should be no reason why you should be quoting one man's definition of a genre in fiction to justify your use of it. Also, I rarely try to harp on story ideas and the roles they fit into, but imperialistic machines with guns are going to be a hard sell to anybody as fantasy. That doesn't mean you can't use the idea at all, but you shouldn't be trying to lump the idea in with the fantasy genre to make it playable. Science fiction can coexist with fantasy, and it's not that hard to do either. Half the stories I tried to do with a lot of you folks were under the science fiction category, and people seemed to accept those with open arms. If I managed to accept that my ideas were from a different genre and could interact with people just fine, why can't you?
From experience with you, I think a lot of people are talking about the use of the idea and how you interact with people, not the idea itself. And of course people can try to subvert your use of technology with their own mix and match of things such as magic, etc etc. But does a metaphorical nuclear arms race between you and the people you roleplay with seem like a good environment for you to roleplay in? The Cold War is over, comrade. |
