Alright folks, WoodBlade is back in the forums. Run for the bunkers, hide in your corners, and Oz-prepare your insults quickly ^_^)b. I will be unable to attend Warcraft 3 for a very long period of time and will be moving to England to become Agent 00- ... I mean go to Oxford, amazing isn't it? Because of that I want to do a futuristic Text RP on the forums now that I can easily make a storyline in my spare time and the such. I would personally like a more future based rp, with acual guns. Not like .hack with its strange magiks and swords in a futuristic land! And, we all know when we think guns (Least all the Silly Sausages) we think haloz.lawl. Hence I bring up my old topic ===> http://s7.zetaboards.com/Order_of_theRoleplay/topic/157196/1/ Where I will, surprisingly, follow Oz's advice and will follow by the BOOKS more then the GAME, and go and take Age's advice and make a storyline a few years after "Halo 3" events so that we have more space to do things. This will not include ANY BUNGIE CREATED CHARACTERS, Master Chief is DEAD deal with it, cause I said he died! >:\ And, the arbiter is actually female and is pregnant with Johnson's children, fuck off with the fanaticism. Spartans/Arbiter/Master Chief WILL NOT BE IN THIS RP >:\ In other events, I am also considering doing a Dead Space RP, where I will base the storyline not to give ANY spoilerz at the request of certain people. I will give information needed for a beginner to get into it, and actually understand somewhat what is going on without tossing out all the plot twisters. Also, anyone who has completed the game must swear not to spoil any juicy events for the Dead Space virgins :3. Edit: This will be based on the game, which is AFTER the Animated Movie, the movie describes what happened before, the game is after :D. Anyway I want a vote on this for Halo or Dead Space, make a choice and do give me ideas if you feel free. Seriousness here people, don't do lame shit on me, you know I hate it. I would prefer something not themed and more... original. But if I have to vote for either of the two, it would be Dead Space. Halo doesn't interest me anymore, so I'd rather something more fresh and new. Or Mass Effect. :D |

Well I was thinking of just not setting so carved onto stone. Just the story is set on the planet and the planet cracker ship, and you guys can decide how you are on it or what ever, even be part of ther epair crew that came in before. If I am not mistaken there where 5, including issac. Only one died in the beginning and you only see two get on the tram, hence there is a lone survivor out there. |

Haha... I only played like the first hour of dead space 'cause it didn't interest me since it wasn't as scary as people said, so I have no idea what you're talking about, wood... so moreso, my vote goes for something more original unless everyone agrees and you can give me a crash course on the storyline :P |

Well I can give you a crash course easily I will give some in the story if I make it, but just to tell you Halo will have more freedom then Dead space would if that is what you want. |

If the RP gets underway, I wouldn't mind joining, gives me a good reason to visit the forum more regularily. As someone who has yet to play either in the Halo Series, or Dead Space, I would have to say Halo for more freedom. However I think you should come up with something completely original. Come up with some odd and original way of integrating guns into a world if you want them so bad, for example (Although not my original thought)- Battlesuits that work on voice command that operate with servos to move body parts, but on certain keywords (In this case Cut) create a bolt of electricity that people fight with. Or for a more original one without the typical power armour- Anti-Ionic particles launched from a "Bazookas" that can cut holes through Baneblade armour. Instead of power armour have megnetic repulsion shields that repel all incoming projectiles, and fizzle all incoming energy signles in a negative polar magnetic zone. All this while people ride on M-state metal boards superheated to negative weight. Or you could have a place just focused on the future rather then going to war in powersuits with powerful guns in hand. |
