Sorry sorry sorry! I've had alot on my plate, including graduation, a family member having a stroke... Getting a laptop, working my ass off... Anyways... I'll finish The Succubi: The Succubi: The Mothers, daughters, sisters of those slaughtered by the Behemoth. Those who were married or related somehow to military personel before these killings started are amongst them. They dared not to speak out against the mass killings publicly, instead forming their group in basements and alleys in which watchers had yet to discover. They believe in the slow, painful death of those whom have wronged them, and amongst the Behemoth soldiers, it is whispered that the Succubi's power reaches into the upper tiers of the organization. When the Behemoth discovered of their existance, four statues were erected on the Grand Walk (The main walkway into the center building), four women who weren't as willing as the rest, searing hot metal fused to their skin, their bodies and minds a twisted shadow of who they were. Oh and I forgot to explain the Behemoth itself: Behemoth: It's self-proclaimed name became a household whisper 15 years ago, in which the modification of genes at an atomic level became mechanized. They, once being a small start-up company selling "Memory chips" (A way of imprinting a series of cerebral scans into a microchip that can be inserted into a slit in the user's neck to simulate a slew of memories). Far from the first, they were instead the richest, due to their leader, Richard Coneen. Mr. Coneen had formerly been employed in E.S.O. (Ethereal Simulation Organization) and was in possession of a large amount of stock, when the company invented "True Virtual Reality". He modified said memory chips to now contain genetic imprints of whomever, whatever being to be introduced into a woman whose baby was still in utero. This attracted eye the government at the time, U.F.G. (Universal Federal Government) who demanded the industry, due to it's risky nature, be overseen by govt. officials. The Behemoth responded by releasing a worldwide patch, modifying the function chips, to now induce growth at unnatural rates in which some cases, broke out of their mother's womb, and in other cases caused the mother's aging to death. The chips inserted into regular men and women caused extreme irrationality, extreme weakness, and furthermore made them slackjawed. (Their mouth was constantly open, the muscles in their cheeks weakened, earning the nickname "Zombie") As officials in the government, besides the extreme upper tiers, began to succumb to the affliction, the behemoth issued a public statement: "We, here at Behemoth, have become aware of a virus unleashed via memory chips, and are working to correct any errors or flaws in the program diligently. However, U.F.G. Officials present at our current locale, require all of our files be checked, manually. Therefore, we cannot release a fix until their investigation has finished, Which, President Eula (Of the U.F.G) states will be several months. We are sorry for any inconvience caused." This caused huge riots, as another patch was issued to increase the user's strength threefold of their normal abilities. The U.F.G immediately issued a statement proclaiming: "The U.F.G. will not further inquire into the activities of the Behemoth organization, and thus will be recalling all representatives inside of Behemoth territory, and will be willing to assist any efforts in correcting any illnesses caused from usage of a memory chip. Thank you." More to come. :) Edited by Kitmuri, Jun 23 2009, 10:02 PM.

Glad to see it got back on track. I remember asking Osh if he wanted to brainstorm with me a month ago and said he was busy. After that I kind've had to focus on other things and this fell off the radar. Sorry, but I'll gladly take the bullet if it means this is going to be carried out after all. ;) |

Well, I'd be happy to fill in any loopholes in anything not understood by anyone about the basics of this RP, but I feel that if we got a head count in how many want in, then proceeded to get the ball rollin' before anyone had a chance to lose focus, we'd stand a fighting chance at keeping the RP alive, how about it? |

Ah, finally Kit :P But it was worth the wait (hoping people are still interested in this idea). I'm quite interested still in starting this RP up, so you can keep my head counted :D |

I'm in, as long as you can provide a gist for the story line in a very layman's-term explanation. While I'm one for reading details, if I can get the overall idea for the storyline, I can wing it from there. But if it's all in minute details, it'll go right over my head. Or at least when I'm reading it at 3:00 AM. Dunno, lulz. |

I was thinking, anyone who was interested could start out at one level or another of society, maybe a few in each rebel faction. It's been peaceful for awhile due to the fact it's been reported by inside sources that they recovered several caches of quite old thermonuclear missles, though not totally functional, are being used to breed a new weapon. Now, the various factions are planning on taking action. These actions somehow involve all of us, and begin a clash... Anything else needed? |

Still need a generalized outline of the story and such, we have the factions but that's it, and even that I didn't really look over. I mean, to boil it down, what exactly are we going to be doing? |

Well, I'll try my best to not convolve my words :o Basically we're going to attempt to overthrow a huge corporation whose taken control of earth's resources and the government almost entirely. I'll handle the president of the behemoth's actions, as well as -some- of the upper tiers, but...The rest is up to you guys. And yes I'll make a rebel character too. Any other questions? And anyone want to put up some char sheets? |

I'll try and get -something- put together by the end of today. Any restrictions we should be aware of? |

Well. 1. First of all generally, everything in this RP is humanoid. There can be exceptions but they'll be called a freak or a mutant or hunted down for examination. 2. Laser shields are only used by the rich, the powerful, and the government. Otherwise it's thick hulls and bullets (Things can be purchased off of say, a black market or something) 3. Right now I think we should restrict the RP to earth itself and maybe a few planets away, though there are space ships, however there are only outposts in local space (In our solar system) And Behemoth controls all of them. 4. I'll think up something else later. |

We're going to need a general starting locale. Or a description of areas we could potentially use, like North America for example. Y'know, minor details like that. Lulz. |

Lol, okay. How about...We start in..Oh, oh! How about we start in Cape Cod? Lots of tourists, lots of rich, old people. ...Lots of money changing hands. Anyways...Cape Cod during this time has become the seaport of the eastern half of the world. It's erosion has been stopped by using generous amounts of hydralic machinary, owned by not-so-generous businessmen who demand constant payments. Behemoth has been demanding a cut of their profits, however...Both sides do not see eye to eye. ontop of that, there have been multiple reports of sabotage of BM (I hate writing it like 23092823 times) property, and thus a new weapon has been brought in, though there has been a media blackout on what it is. Anything else? |
