I was having problems with the pinned method of doing a backup, then i saw another person with problems in this post http://z7.invisionfree.com/PSO_SERVER_HOME...showtopic=33104 and captain n had posted a link with his guide. I tried his method but after running i see this message GCS v 1.0a Not Connected I ran ctr-gcs.exe like it says in the guide but it never seems to connect to the gamecube it just sits there with the above message. However it does generate a 0kb file with the backup name: "mem_card1.gci" but i presume it would do this before it connects... Is there a specific cable i have to use like a crossover? or is a normal lan ok, i've tried both anyway and used the steps on a number of different pc's in case it was just my laptop. Any help with this would be great, i love the game its just i dont want to lose my character and all my hardwork from a fsod. |
