go to the following key. {all versions} [hkey_local_machine\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\explorer \desktop\namespace] expand that key and a list of clsid values will be displayed.among that find a clsid value named {645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} delete the above clisid value.this is the clsid value that corresponds to the recycle bin.after deleting that value restart the computer.now the recycle bin icon wont get displayed. or you can 
take that in a text file and name it "Binopt.reg" To hide or show the Recycle Bin icon using Folder Options, follow these steps: 1. In Windows Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Folder Options. 2. On the View tab, under Advanced Settings, do one of the following: • Select the Show Recycle Bin icon on the desktop check box to show the icon on your desktop. • Clear the Show Recycle Bin icon on the desktop check box to remove the icon from your desktop. |
