It doesn't take a fucking genius to recognize the lack of activity here. Shit, even Ashface would be able to see it and he's a retard. But here's what I want to know. Do we want to make a consolidated effort to boost activity here? I know Markles and Vee aren't here to make any admin-y changes, and Nikki is like our mother hen, so kind of limited on that front. I don't want to see PXE die, myself, so I'd like to make an effort. I think maybe a refurbishment of the place could do us wonders, tbh. Just small features that'd make PXE more appealing. One I'd like to see is changing the poster information from the left side of the post, to above the post, as seen on vBulletin message boards. I believe small changes like this will be a sub-conscious encouragement that'll cause people to stay. Is anyone else prepared to support the efforts? Becky has already started a bit of promo work herself, and using her vaginal magnetic waves, she is sure to attract people. Come on PixieBros, let's do this ;_; |

Every single time this happens we rally up, get a couple decent new people and get all active, ourselves. Pxe's all chirpy and posting everywhere for the small amount of time, and then we recede back to this after the newys fuck off and we get lazy. I don't even find it a scare of Pxe dying. I know that there'll always be enough us to at least keep it at this, which is better than what its darkest days have seen before. I don't know, you make it to be something so awful, but we have our comfortable posts to always keep us here, at least. I've slowly been accelerating my post rate recently. To answer your question, I'm not going to promoting anything, I don't want anybody knew here. Everybody we get over here is a joke, and then we attack them until they piss off. I don't have anything wrong with us attacking people, it's as fun as anything. But fending off the 'tards gets tedious. I think Pxe's evolved to it's highest form of Pixie. We're far too strong and consolidated to want to let most people in to our ~way~, those who try to come are subject to somewhat torture that we've all had to endure. Do we really have enough of range of places that we can try and extract people like ourselves from? I don't think so. The futility of previous attempts don't suggest otherwise. I love Pxe, and I'll post more, sure. But I'll never get there excessively, the site won't. But we'll be comfortable. We won't die, not soon I don't think, before lives consume us all, the Pixies have far too strong a bond. |

I agree with Layne. With extracted all of the worthwhile members from SC, the rest are mind-numbingly stupid or just plain annoying. We aren't going to get members from anywhere else unless we REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY try. I mean the only non-sc member we've ever had was that Falcon guy from ages ago. He was cool for a while then went all Brian on us. |

My time here is basically spent at the main page just wondering what to do next for about 5 hours without really achieving anything :/ And yeah, I agree with the point about new members. That's the plan that Nikki and I discussed. Plain and simple, it's the topics. They get stale quickly. If everyone makes an effort to make at least one topic per day, the activity should swell. It wouldn't be too hard to think of a topic, really. 10 seconds worth of thought would probably be all it takes. |
