Lots of water is really major when it comes to good health.

(Even if I have to get up once in the night, it is worth it for the quality of sleep I get either side, after a good large glass of water last thing, whether I've been at the alcohol or not!)

Now you're sittin' on a Paris train, laughing at your own jokes again

Water is essential if you are on a high protein diet, which I am. Besides, I piss every 20 minutes anyway. :D
I've got a 90 ft. point driven well, and it's got the coldest, freshest, water I've ever tasted. I drink so much more water since I've moved.
Ali, if you're gonna drink alcohol have a cold water between every drink. It keeps you hydrated and between the telephone poles. ;)

Peace :peace:

I had to look up what a point driven well was.

I that your only water supply, and is it pumped into your house? Or is your main water supply piped in through a typical community water system with the well used as a supplemental source?

That is the only stuff. I have a filtration system built into my refrigerator, so my drinking water and ice is filtered. We had a study done on it when we moved in, and it is safe to drink, but high in metal, like iron.
The only thing that gets me is if we have a power failure. Then we are at the mercy of our pump. I figure we have enough for about 3 flushes. I have five gallons of water in my storage room...enough to get us through a minor emergency.
If we should have an ice storm the magnitude of what St. Louis just went through, we might be finished.
The power comany does make a generator that runs on natural gas. In the event of a power failure it will run a furnace, water pump, and lights. You must decide if the darn thing is worth the money. A real good one can run you $7500 or more.
