Less than 25.5 hours to go - hopefully everyone is where they want to be, and noone is caught up in the fog ... we could barely drive on the motorway yesterday, less land a plane in the same visiblity!

More shocked we don't haven't had our yearly mention of "butteries" yet; indeed, it's gone from the search engine. I have managed to get my mum to make pigs in blankets though, after I explained what they were!

Looking forward to 2007 -

  • Box is gonna get more greyer with another bundle of joy
  • Rob continues losing weight, being happy and sending me jokes which make me cry
  • Strepsil-Junkie takes over the global world of childcare/teaching
  • Ali increases his consumption of hats / moves to OSX ;)
  • Cardiff get promoted!
  • Wales win the 6 nations
  • TJ gets to meet ol' Barry :D
  • I start a new job on Jan 2nd ----- MONEY!!
  • Simon and Pete lose their eBay accounts for fraud
  • Beth plays Cardiff, at last, and as promised
  • I will GROW some hair back

Hope everyone has a double-mega Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

Went to the JobCentre today, and the Army were there going "Be the Best" ... now T-Mobile just told me I didn't have the qualifications to sell phones, Microsoft said I didn't have the qualifications to answer the phones, and the Army want to let me loose with a machine gun?

As a confirmed Catholic, I will be attending mass on Monday.

All the rest of you are heathens :D

The fridge and cupboards are full( turkey, ham, pigs in blankets/cheese in blankets. nuts, pringles choccie biccies and a gateua large enough to feed a samll town). Mr Strep is off doing last minute shopping while I clean the house. Thensome more wrapping to finish off and a carol service in the vilage square and Christmas will be here!

Hope it's a merry one for all, wherever you are and hope the coming year is your best one yet, Strepsx.

Merry Christmas to all. The guy who plows my snow just got here, so my outside link with the real world just got a whole lot easier. (Thank God for four wheel drive)

May I wish a cheerful and bright holiday to all on board here. To Moro, our newest contributor, to Ade, our resident leader, and Ali, our own private guru.
Oh, and may I not forget my friend Toby, who keeps me updated on the growth and progress of Mollie (gosh, I feel like her American god father). And many other Beth heads on here...Ian, Bull, Simon, Ziggy, Daybreaker 79, Sam, James, Streppy, if I was married to you I'd weigh a thousand pounds! If I left out anyone I am sorry, but the old thinking cap doesn't fit like it used to fit.

Then I'd like to wish a Merry Christmas to Beth Orton, whose beautiful, lovely tunes have inspired us all, and has served as the guiding light for this entire forum. Beth, thanks for the opportunity to actually come face to face with you this past summer and to witness the charm and love that goes into one of your concerts. It was wonderful, and I will remember and cherish it forever.

Merry Christmas, evryone, and to all a good night.

Peace :peace:

Rob

As an afterthought, you will have two kids climbing all over you and pulling your hair ... you are gonna be bald!

15 mins to go!

Merry Christmas, everyone. I forgot a few names earlier. Folks like Walrus, James Gray, and of course TJ. Who could forget TJ?
Then again, we have Sandad, Ben, Mike Judd, and Robin Beebe.
Forgive me if I forget anyone, but I really do try. I did have the honor of speaking with my good friend Ali on the phone today. he is indeed a true gentleman. His manor is very distinctive, and he's also very soft spoken and eloquent. Not a thing like me.
Let's hope and pray for a Happy New Year along with a joyous Christmas. I hope that Beth is OK, and I hope that the baby is healthy. (We still have not heard a thing)
Good night, everyone.

Nonsense, Rob! You have a lovely voice - the voice of a young man - from which I deduce that you are young at heart!

Happy Christmas everyone!!!

Trouble with listing names is you forget someone all the time - that's why I just put "everybody"

So I will add to that list

Elizabeth,
Euan,
Manizeh,
Ben - Dr G,
Loren,
Go-Quick,
Gaz,
Nick,
Phil,
Drew,
Neil,
elastic22,
Dierk (emailed him a few days ago),
Keith,
Chis

and anybody i've forgotten

Thank you for the compliment, Ali. I've heard a recording of my voice, and I always thought I sounded like a dork! Ha!
And Keith...yes! The shining star of Bethlehem...how could I forget him. Keith, if you happen to check in tonight, I send you my best.
To all my friends...I send you my love on this special night.

And lastly, I send my love to my dear wife Paula. She went overboard this Christmas season...making a beautiful sign for us to display at the entrance to our property, and preparing a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner. Of which I ate too much of. I will regret it tomorrow. But it was so good tonight.

And maybe last but hopefully not least, a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from the Judd houshold here in Idaho. Three inches of snow two days ago, we might just get our first White Christmas!!

:vhappy2:

I've been told by Judd jnr #1 to leave the fire off tonight in case Santa burns his bottom on the way down ....

It's a damn good thing you remembered to include that!! :flame:

It looks like all the names were covered in various posts above, so I won't attempt to repeat them all, but will wish a very Merry Christmas to all my good friends on this forum!

And of course best wishes to Beth, and maybe while she is spending many a sleepless night dealing with this...
