I feel like I am now made of Brussel Sprouts and Cranberries.

I did give prior warning that I speak shit on the telephone ;) -- my Christmas speech was duly delivered to the poor, unsuspecting and actually asleep at some point, Ali :D ... great chat, and a very funny geezer! Eloquent, as coined by Rob, is the perfect word ... next to my coarse Wenglish

Hope everyone has had a cool day. Time to get ready for the New Year!
Went to the JobCentre today, and the Army were there going "Be the Best" ... now T-Mobile just told me I didn't have the qualifications to sell phones, Microsoft said I didn't have the qualifications to answer the phones, and the Army want to let me loose with a machine gun?

Nice chat, Ade!

Seeing as I was at least half asleep I can't imagine what shit I talked, but I seem to have made sense to you anyway, so that's alright then!

:D

Sometimes it's just hearing a voice, and matching up that voice with whatever pictures of that person you might have that gives you an image of what that person is really like. Does that make sense?
One of my New Years resolutions is to ring up Ade next; followed by others. The world is small indeed when we have phones and email and such. My aunt had a pen pal from England for many years. I think they finally got together and met. Some things are just meant to be. :D

Hearing both your voice and Ade's for the first time in the last couple of days, despite the novelty, really felt as if I was tuning in to old friends! Which I guess is what you have become since we chat so much here and by email! :)

Clearly in a related event, about 20 mins after, I got a sore throat and a cough ... which is still alive and annoying.

Stick that with my thumb being in bits after last week, and now a weird pain in my side, I am a picture of health.

I have a cure for that. Hit yourself in the thumb with a hammer and you will forget all about that pain in your side.

Sorry for the belated wishes, but Merry Christmas, Happy Chanukah, Kwanzaa, Winter Solstice...whatever you celebrate!
And thanks for the personal shout-out Rob!

Hope everyone had a nice holiday. Mine was too short, even with the extra long weekend. But I did go to midnight mass on Christmas Eve like a good little Catholic. And I promptly remembered why I don't go to church anymore!

Now- New Years plans anyone? :drunk:

No end and no beginning, an endless sky
An endless day
