Yep, That's what it is here. I was just out with the wife, and it was -3 Fahrenheit outside. With sunny, clear skies, that means that tonight will be colder than a witch'es tit.
They are predicting a wind chill on Sunday of -50 degrees. We were supposed to go ice fishing that day, but mercifully that has been cancelled.
I think I'll stay in and drink beer and watch the Super Bowl. :vhappy:

Never having fondled a witch, I wouldn't know!

(Actually, don't they have three tits? I assume one each for hot , cold, and medium.)

My neighborhood was colder than usual for much of December and January, with a lot of nights at or below freezing (bad for plants), but has returned to more or less normal the past ten days or so.

Now things have gotten serious. Instead of being colder than a witch'es tit, it is now cold enough to freeze the balls off a brass monkey. It is -30 wind chill out. I'm only going out tomorrow to feed the deer and the birds.
Oh my... :worthy:

It is -16 degrees this morning. Even the deer are not out. They must be bedded down somewhere. The only living thing I've seen is one lone raven. :ph43r:

-10 degrees last night. Coldest place in Britain
Went to the JobCentre today, and the Army were there going "Be the Best" ... now T-Mobile just told me I didn't have the qualifications to sell phones, Microsoft said I didn't have the qualifications to answer the phones, and the Army want to let me loose with a machine gun?

Woohoo ... SNOW DAY!!

There is not one person in work, which possibly means it will go as an extra day off!

Cup of tea, and back to bed!

Ok. I will do it here. Seems I have a bit of a time posting in the proper forums. It is now past retarded cold. 13 days in a row below zero. Fri will be a heat wave at 15+. Then back to well below fri night and no end in sight. I now despise the color white and am not too fond of refrigeration either. If you go out for a smoke, the air is so dry it sucks the moisture from your mouth on the first breath. Scandanavians in Minnesota obviously have some sort of genetic defect or sumpin. It DOES NOT BUILD CHARACTER! It does however make it much easier to talk to yourself and get an answer, even tho the voices in my head are chattering w/ the cold. Cant wait for travel time. Hopefully some greta roots rock fri night along w/ a spliff or 20 will ease the pain.

I was just out, and although the wind is blowing 25 mph, it is +13 degrees out...and it doesn't feel too bad.
But alas, like Scott says there is no end in sight as every night for the next week will be below zero.
Not fun. Hey, save one of those doobies for me. :D

Woohoo!

I've just been sent home because it is snowing a blizzard, and it's unsafe for some of the disabled workers.

My sum total work output for the day has been finding some Office CDs for my boss. And I got a lift home from a very attractive woman (not that it's hard in our office ;) ) :D

-3, dunno about the wind chill, but I am wrapped in a duvet.

What's hard, Rob? ;)

What's a duvet? You're hard to understand. :tease:
Don't worry about the snow...upstate New York had 100 inches and there's more on the way. That's what you get when you live in a snow belt. The snow machine is turned off around here as it has been so cold that the whole western part of Lake Superior has frozen. That's quite a feat, as Superior is the second largest lake in the world!
