Inspired by Roland Cube, and the many hours of fun I've had over the years trying to find the right name for real bands of which I've been a member, here's an idea for a game with no rules whatsoever . . .

Just invent brilliant names for bands that should exist in a perfect world, and possibly do in some alternate universe. One could even smuggle in the names of real but obscure bands, and see if anyone notices!

Weird thread

Gorky's Zygotic Mynci

Oeth Borton (Oeth = eight in Welsh)
Went to the JobCentre today, and the Army were there going "Be the Best" ... now T-Mobile just told me I didn't have the qualifications to sell phones, Microsoft said I didn't have the qualifications to answer the phones, and the Army want to let me loose with a machine gun?

I'm a weird guy (not really - it's a major issue for every new band - what are we going to call it?!)

Gorky's Zygotic Mynci is of course a real band.

I love Oeth Borton, and hope to hear that you are the drummer in Oeth Borton before long!

:vhappy:

(As a committed Deadhead, it is a source of great pride to me that I have been in two bands with 'Dead' in the name, namely 'Dead Sea Scrolls' and 'Dead Grateful Mothers' . . . it's the gospel truth, I promise you!)
