Years ago, Marquette Park in Miller Beach used to be the local hangout for heads. I was once approached by an acquaintance who presented me with a toothpick. I asked what that was for, and he told me to stick it in my mouth. It was then that he informed me that it was Owsley acid...pure stuff.
Well, I had not planned on tripping that day, but there I was. I spent the next 36 hours walking from crash pad to crash pad...smoking cigarettes and tripping my balls off.
A few days later I bought some more toothpicks...at a dollar a pick. Needless to say, we had a fun few weeks...my friends and me.
To this day, every time I see a toothpick I am reminded of old Owsley. Nice to see he's still kicking... :2cool:

I spent most of my late teens chasing that but i could never find any, now that i'm older and have some responsibility i'm swimming in it. I remember my first time and i remember thinking that i've missed something fantastic, i should have spent my late teens and early twenties rolling around in parks on sunny days embracing a carefree life.

now i'm on the treadmill living in between bills and obligations, getting a glimpse of a better life here and there, but never feeling like anything meaningful, original and beautiful is happening.

bah we create our own meanings

Or as that William Shakespeare (who you don't like) put it ...

"There is nothing either good or bad but thinking makes it so."

I beg to differ

"ICT Managers are hung like donkeys"

:smartass:
Went to the JobCentre today, and the Army were there going "Be the Best" ... now T-Mobile just told me I didn't have the qualifications to sell phones, Microsoft said I didn't have the qualifications to answer the phones, and the Army want to let me loose with a machine gun?

If you were hung like a donkey you wouldn't be an ICT manager. :D

I believe that was William Shakespeare who said that. ;)
