I can't wait for the replies to this one :D
Went to the JobCentre today, and the Army were there going "Be the Best" ... now T-Mobile just told me I didn't have the qualifications to sell phones, Microsoft said I didn't have the qualifications to answer the phones, and the Army want to let me loose with a machine gun?

Erm, yes, there are a couple of obvious ones  but there must be SOMETHING else to do... Art and Anne Frank not withstanding ;)

Get toked up at a cafe, then ask a policeman, who is no doubt gay and riding a bike, where the nearest prostitute is, and then toke a bit more!

Anne Frank's house
The Van Gogh museum
Rembrant's house
Amsterdam ArenA
Rijksmuseum

Cheers for the suggestions. Chips and mayo I get Ali, but can you give more descriptions on the other gastronomies, I'm a fussy eater...

There's a great drink ... it's a bit like squash, but made of corn-syrup, and is really nice

It's called Sirop

Slagroom is whipped cream, wafels are waffles, ein broodje kaas is a really tasty cheese roll (the ham ones are yummy too if you eat meat ... I was a carnivore when I lived there), and vanillefla is a thick vanilla-flavoured milk drink ... in a large bottle from the supermarket ... they do other flavours too, such as chocolate, if you prefer.

It's all comfort food (baby food!) really, but oddly compelling!

Sounds interesting. A workmate recommended we hired bikes...not sure if that would be a good idea if visiting coffee shops  .

Fairly safe, as there is usually some kind of railing between you and the canal. If you get dizzy you can always dismount and take photos of the wonderful reflections!!

:vhappy2:

(I nearly died in Amsterdam btw, from various different causes! :( )

It was all drug and food related actually ... nothing to do with sex, for once! :P
