There's a few companies I think that specialize in low-run vinyl reissues...Sundazed is the most prominent one I can think of. I got a killer vinyl reissue from them of the first Blood Sweat & Tears album (the Al Kooper one).

BTW ... Andy @ Reflex owns a copy of the Winnebago cassette ... but always refuses to give / sell it to me

I would be interested to know where it got it and how much he paid for his...has he let you see it - the cassette that is! ;)
I think he got it from working in the record shop so freebie :(
Never seen it (as 200? miles away) but could ask for pics if you wanted?

Also meant to comment (as others have) strange that Errol didn't know :(

Reading this article in RC it appears that some vinyl plants, after setting up an agreement, can get access to a labels back catalogue and produce reissues without too much hassle from the label. Because these plants can produce in small quantites it is viable for them to do limited runs. A label like sony for example if there were to reissue omn vinyl would want to produce 1000's to make it worth their while. I guess Errol / Beth haven't / don't need to be consulted as a broad agreement is in place.

Well worth a lot at the article - very interesting - i can scan and email if wanted?!

I received this message from Amazon today, regarding the TP vinyl:

"Unfortunately, the release date for the item(s) listed below has changed, and we need to provide you with a new delivery estimate based on the new release date:

Beth Orton "Trailer Park (Ogv)"
Estimated arrival date: March 19 2010 - March 23 2010"

Slightly disappointing -- but happiness delayed is not happinesss denied.

Yeah, I got the same...bummer, but oh well. It's not like I haven't heard the album a million times, it's just a nice addition to the collection (and hopefully will be a nice, quiet, hi-fidelity pressing).

Could just be a delay in the U.S. release. That happens a lot, especially with smaller releases.
