Explanation: In this topic, you may challenge a selection of pre-made bots. The bots are divided into seven tiers, each more difficult than the last. Everyone starts at Tier 1. If you win, you move up a tier. If you lose, you start back at tier one. Each tier has a set bet. Starts at 100 for the first tier, and increases by 50 for each tier. You cannot bet more or less. To challenge the dome, post with the character you wish to use, and say which of your weapons you're using. Also, note which tier you're in. Keep track of that in your profile along with your stats and growths. Arena admin will run the matches periodically. |

I'll take the first fight. I'm a bit of a physical tank, so unless I'm fighting someone with steel nothing should do much to my 20HP and 7 DEF. Lets see what tier 1 has to offer me. |

Okay, first battle. Now, I did all the calculations using the stats listed in Ellis' profile and the ones given in the Dome Bots topic (for the bad guy). I'm sure that if you do it yourself, you'll find my calculations are correct. Since I'm a little foggy on how you'd all like me to operate the RNG, I will be doing the following. I'm going to generate a number between 1 and 100. In Ellis' case, he has a 70% chance to hit. So if the number I generate for him is less than or equal to 70, he gets a hit. If it is 71 or greater however, he will miss. Seems fair and logical to me, so that's how it's going down until someone says otherwise. Also, before I generate that number, I will be generating a number for criticals. If the number's a 1, hooray you get a critical. Anything else, normal attack. Okay. Without further ado, let's get this show on the road! You don't roll crit first. You roll it after hit, and only if the attack lands. Also, while the final exp totals of 30 win/6 loss look right, the round by round calculation and adding to get there seems different from what I understood of the previous ones. Think they just calculated the exp for a kill and used that. Don't feel like trying to crunch the numbers at 1:30 A.M., though, so maybe it's just another path to the same results or something. Otherwise, looks good. |

That was disappointing even at tier one. Then again heavy armored foes and heavy hitters aren't my thing. Maybe this time around I'll get something quick but wont pack much a punch. Interesting. Well I might as well try. Hopefully a magic user will have a decent edge considering most classes have only 1 RES and I'm hitting with 14 damage per hit. And my defense and res isn't all that shabby either. So 100 gold on tier 1. Current Attack Stats: Flux MT: * 8 + 6 = 14 dark HIT: 80 + 8 (4 x 2 and 0/2) = 88 Wt: 8Wt - 8 Con = 0 AS: 4 Avoid: 8 |
