I guess bots can have changes in behavior. :whoops: I might try this if I can.

Well I put up my sniping map in the multiplayer section (The Wall). If anyone makes it on PS2 let me know if the bots don't act right.

Guess what? I got a new printer all I need is a USB cable to start printing maps like yours. So, when I get that USB cable, I'll make your map.

I've been lurking this Forum, and was surprised to see that nobody's found this before. It's a trick for making AIs in the mapmaker that won't attack you when they spot you.

To start, place two tiles next to each other, and connect them with a locked door (the door should be the only way to get through to the other tile). Now place your starting point on one side of the door, and an enemy set to Spawn and Attack on the other, unarmed. Now set up a logic operation so that 1 second into the game, the door will unlock. If you preview your map now, you'll see that instead of attacking you when the door opens, the AI will simply point an invisible gun at you and shoot no one.

If you experiment with this, you can aqcuire loads of cool situations, like a torture scene. Try it out!

Yeah this also works in TS2, I usually use it for enemies too shoot at you quickly with out delay, good for Snipers in Story Mode.

Is it possible to get the "civilian" to follow you around? Could make for some interesting story maps. Would be awesome if you could set it so when a certain person dies you lose, but too bad... (I meant escort missions would be great)

Here's something interesting. In addition to making them a kill-and-you-lose entity, you can make them carry a key that you need to open a door. Kill them to get the red key and you lose, but lure them to the locked red key door and the door opens up...

Already said, but robots with bats, or anyone with a ghost gun except Splitters, if they shouldn't harm you. Although hurting you and you not being able to kill them is even more interesting. They could be "innocent" but delerious; zombies make great sick people.

i was trying to create a story map based off bioshock and i found that the deep diver behaves differently then the other ai's. He only fired at me when i was within about two tiles reach of him and he fired and held all the weapons the same. When he spotted me he would just stand there untill I moved closer to him. He also only missed me if i moved out of range just before he shot or if he didnt have a weapon that shoot bullets. I also found that if another ai shot at you, he would run up to you and start shooting but he would stand in place and not move unless the ai leap frogged him and moved in front of him. If you killed his ai buddy he would stop moving again. It made me think of the big daddy from bioshock cuz he wouldnt attack unless you came really close to him or shot his friend. I though it was kinda neat and if anyone was thinking of doing something similar to what I was doing you could make edwina into the "little sister" and have the deep diver play big daddy.

Only it's the other way around in Bioshock, the big daddy only attacks if you shoot the sister, instead of it standing around when you kill it =/

Still a cool find though.
