Create 4 1x1 stackables on top of eachother, then place a slide on the second floor (going up to the third) with the top half connected to the third stackable. place any room on the fourth floor on the opposite side to the ramp, and place a speed powerup nearby. connect any other tiles to the bottom stackable, or replace it with a death tile. The only way to get to the slide is to use the speed powerup or you will just fall.

Yeah that's nothing new, in fact that exact same scenario that you described is in my chopper map

It's still a great thing though, and it's good that it's written down for others to see.

I had an idea of making a map revolving more around that, using an even bigger distance to jump but a larger difference in the amount of floors(inspired by Halo 3's man cannon). I don't know if I'll actually do anything with it, but at least it's down on here so maybe someone can do anything with it =/

It could be good if there is a bit of a hike between the powerup and the jump, and a delay in the winghat respawning, so that the jumper will be worried about making it... any opposition or mis-step and... DOH! No good, or even a plunge into the chasm. That'd be funny.
