| Making enemies in story maps use turrets? | |

How do you make it so that enemies in story maps go to use the turrets? I set them to spawn and attack with unarmed next to the turret, but instead of using it, they just charge at me. Is there a certain thing you need to do? |

Strangely enough, they need to be armed, not unarmed. It also helps if they are stationary or spawned and waiting; if they are spawn and attack, they may charge you and get too far away from the gun to be "aware" of it once they finally spot you. They also need to be neither Zombies or Robot characters, only the "normal" kind will work. |

Weird, the enemies I placed on Tru Combat Part 2 almost always go for the turrets when they spot me and it's damn near impossible to keep the turrets unmanned. As soon as a bot spots an open turret, they fly straight towards it. Oh wait, they have to be armed? No wonder my Soviet Rifle/ Sniper Rifle almost always go for the turrets. That level has got to be one of my hardest story maps ever. The heatseeker-wielding, robotic boss.. the turret-crazed bots.. the rocket autoguns.. lulz.. |
