--The Velvet Room--

Those who have awakened to their persona can access the Velvet Room; a door lies inside of their subconscious thoughts. The first time they will be guided there, but future visits are likely to occur voluntarily. One advantage of the Velvet Room’s mental gateway is that one does not need to be physically present to enter it, which means that you can perform a variety of useful transactions without leaving your present location; to simplify, your character can be here as well as in the waking or psyche world. The Velvet Room offers the following services:

1) Create persona, both major and minor. The Velvet Room attendant Victoria helps with this process. Simply post there applying for the process and be sure to include your registration sheet. Make sure that you meet the qualifications for whatever you are trying to make, or the application will be rejected.
2) Put in an order with Tanaka’s shopping program. Realizing the busy schedule of a persona user, and the kind of opportunities that are often missed from Tanaka’s very limited show-time, the mysterious owner of the Velvet Room has opted to allow orders to be transferred through Velvet Room workers to the program. You’ll have to pay up front, of course.
3) Trade/gift items and currency. Each persona user is bestowed a long, blue-clothed table on which they make place their various goods. These goods can be sold or traded for other goods. You may also simply leave items for others to collect. Remember: stealing is not tolerated in the Velvet Room! To use this feature, simply start up your own trade topic in the Velvet Room area.
4) Shop and upgrade your items at Soames' Supplies. NOTE: This is the one area of the Velvet Room which you should not access while in a psyche battle.

--Suggesting a Sale--

If you like, send your ideas for two item Tanaka sales (please no more than one set per week) to me (Aim). I'll be picking one each week from now on to sell. In the event that I get no suggestions or none are suitable, I'll make the sales myself. Please submit just the item names and descriptions. If you include the stats, the items will be thrown out. If your item is accepted, you have a commitment to send the item's stats when called upon by your admin to do so; that is, you should be watching your PMs towards the end of the week. If you fail to do so, stats will be made up on the spot. There are a few additional rules to remember about sale creation:

1) Be generic. Nothing based on copyrighted characters will fly. Also, item descriptions must be intentionally vague in order to allow freedom of appearance to the RPer.

2) Try to avoid sales that have already been used or existing items. The items that have already been created may be referenced in the item list.

3) You will not be able to purchase your idea or come into ownership of it by any method (i.e. trading). If at any time you do, the sale/trade will be void.

4) The stats that you submit later for the item are subject to being changed in any way that the moderation body finds appropriate. If I do not feel that the stats are appropriate, I will share the stats with at least two other mods, get their opinions, and then modify the stats. There is no punishment for submitting stats that need to be modded, however, so don't let the possible stat modification dissuade you from creating items.
