--FAQ-- Frequently asked questions will be recorded here as necessary. Q: Should my character talk with their persona? A: In the series itself, communication with persona has typically been very limited. I think the better thing to do would be to avoid it and focus on communication with your teammates. Consider the Persona as more of an extension of your character. Q: Is the universe here more like in P3 or P4? A: It’s more like P3 than P4, but neither is quite right. You’re basically going to have to read the glossary thread to understand it. PM me if there’s any other questions on that. Q: So my character’s going to turn into a demon eventually if I don’t do the dungeon modding thing? A: No; there is no set point at which your character will become a demon. To explain a little further, nobody at the school has actually witnessed one of these transformations, but they are told that they happen after a period of years. Because a period of years is involved, there is no immediate urgency on making sure that your character’s psyche is cleared right away. Q: Are we RPing new students or have they been here a while? A: Your character is still relatively new (hasn't Spelunked or met their Persona yet), but they have been through orientation and know about the truth of the world of the psyche. Q: Can I make a character that's not a student? A: I'm afraid the student restriction is necessary for the setting to stick together, so no, you can't. Q: What age should I make my character? A: Although the school is a high school, they pull from all sorts of demographics and social statuses. As a result, your character should be around high school age (I'd say 14-18), but you can modify this up or down a bit if you please. Your student will be a 1st year of Jung's regardless. Q: Can people see their personas in the waking world? A: No, only in the psyche. Q: How do I RP using skills? A: The Persona uses all skills, while the player handles weapon attacks. Q: Upon reaching level 3, can I create personae that use multiple [Level 3] prereq skills? A: No. You must act as if you were adding each skill in order; that is, a persona cannot have Zio, Mazio, Dodge Elec, and Dodge Wind at level 3 because he would only have been at level 3 in time to inherit the last of those skills.
