-after leaving the ruin of the goa'uld throne planet behind, the Wraith fleet broke into three groups, each around a hive. They exited the Talus system on subspace, and did not enter hyperspace until they were outsde even their own sensor range of the planet. Then, at predetermined points all three jumped in different directions, headed for the same sector.- -their unified network allowed them to transfer data, instructions, and commands without the need of communication systems, and their fully awakened ships were starting to show their true strengths. Around Obsidian, the other hives began to show personality traits; aggression, among the majority. It was like the fleet was yearning for more combat after their brush with the goa'uld. The loss of the prototype Shadow carriers were felt, but not mourned. They'd surved their purpose to the end without waivering, a shining example to the rest.- -while in hyperspace many hives and crusiser commanders started taking headcount for volenteers for the next batch of assault ships, and there was no shortage of offers to become the next warship for the Primary. Her actions, as much as her words, had bolstered the collective into a near frenzy. But now was not the time to unleash it. With what she'd learned sofar of these parasites calling themselves gods, now was the time to dissapear- -the three fleets made several jumps, scanning the area each time they arrived, for the energy signature they'd encountered both at Teplo and Talus; the goa'uld energy signature of shields, or machinery. Findng any, they'd change course, seeming to head right back the way they came, and jump again once ready. Only once they'd entered a region that showed no signs, would they turn, and head to a direction they'd been given before they left Talus. A region of space that none of them had mapped- -one by one the groups of ships arrived, and found a single star system with several planets in various stages of progress; some tropical, some desert, mostly uninhabited, but there were small pockets, like everywhere else in this galaxy, that the seeds of the Lantean civilization had set root and grown without the presence of the Wraith- -like behemoth shadows, the Wraith ships glided through the space between systems, picking a gas planet with a number of moons with marginal equatorial climates, and a high oxygen content for atmosphere. Rich by human standards, each of the three moons were dark green with folage, a contrast to the firy giant that was their mother planet. Each hive set down on their own moon, and the carriers evenly distributed themselves, four each hive, and settled into the jungles like alligators resting just below the surface of the water, primed and ready to leap and bite- -under the instruction of the Primary, 'farms' were set up using each hive's captuve human population, as well as what they gathered from the system. Humans were devided into clusters, 'flocks', with higher female dencity than male. Where there were more men than women, those men were rounded up and brought back to the hive as excess, to feed and support the Wraith- -from each hive was born a planet based growth, much like the one they'd used on Talus, but these were more specific. Taking the designs the Obsidian hive had used to make the Primary's external womb, the growths were larger, half again the size of a crusier but wide, flat, and circular. They grew under the canopies and dug deep into the mulchy earth with energy sapping roots, becoming self sufficient on geothermal power- -the Primary visited each of these growth centers, and spent a few hours in each behind closed doors in a central chamber. From outside the growth would visibly pulse, like a massive beating heart, emerging looking at once refreshed, yet drained. The Warden traveled with her, and each of the Five original crusier commanders from the refugee Wraith. These high ranking commanders started laying out hunting camps, supplying their human flocks with food and keeping them healthy- -to relieve tension while the growth process was begun, the headcount was called upon. A test was established, from each moon would be chosen five worthy subjects, but to become worthy they would have to prove their mettle. They were pitted against eachother, in war games of ever growing ferocity and complexity. Inter-planetary as well as global 'hunts' took place, and as the collective watched, those who wished to serve most proved it with deeds wrought in eachother's blood- |

-The Hunting tournament continued until there was only 5 volenteers from either of the three moons 'alive'. Those that were 'killed' during the hunts were reduced to human farm tending after revival with the Gift of Life, while the 5 from each were loaded on scout ships and taken to the moon where Obsidian resided. There, they each were settled, injected, and begun the growth process to become the dreaded Shadow assault crusiers- -while this was taking place, The Warden was making reviews of the growth centers, and with him was the scientist who'd done the most work with the shadow enzyme compilation. The scientist had a satchel and they stopped at random incubation cells to administer a variation of the same enzyme. More like an innoculation serum, it contained the same aggression and camoflague DNA but without the ship building retrovirus. -The standard drone soldier was simply that; a drone, a nearly mindless warrior who did as they were told and thought of little else. While effective, en mass, they just didn't have the time or the means to create the numbers required to face a foe that equaled or even rivaled their capabilities. The Warden was curious to see if the serum would improve the Drone's natural faults. If it made them grow a similar shadow skin, all the better. If not it was no loss, as the added aggressive gene would at least make them more fierce indivudally- -normal growth for the drones even with these enhanced growth centers was 4- 6 solar days. The growth center increased embriotic metabolism and administered the required growth hormones to acellerate the natural process the usual Wraith young would go through. This acceleration process was half the reason the drones were 'stupid' in The Warden's view. Any improvement would be for the better, but what happened was outside even the scientist's projections- -in less than 24 hours one of the initial injected cells reported a rupture. Psionic alarms went off warning of cell containment failure, and the Warden went to investigate. They arrived to find the cell was not failed, but ruptured from the inside, the edges upon examination were bent outward. The drone had matured within a matter of hours and erupted from it's artificial womb with the force of an explosion. Amniotic fluid on the floor was traced; bare footprints twice the size of the Drones that accompanied The Warden, leading to a duct that was ripped open along the membranes, leading to the exhaust ventelation- "Assemble a hunting party... find it ... " -The Warden ordered, slipping into the duct himself with two Drones on his heels. He followed the path of torn membranes and dislodged ventelation filters until he found a hole leading out of the growth center into the surrounding woods. Mentally cursing, and making note to flog the scientist, he dropped from the ruined vent to the forest floor and searched keenly. Extending mental fingers as well as eyeing the ground, he found no trace, no tracks to follow.- -frowning, he contacted the hunting team commanders, who upon perimeter search, came up with the same amount of nothing. Intriged now more than upset, the Warden slowly rose his nightshade eyes. There on the trees, easily 4 or 5 meters high and twice that away from the growth center were claw marks in the bark, and more following on nearby trees. Showng them to the Drones, they followed the gashes a while, and then the direction became clear; it was headed for the hive- -Intrigue becoming alarm, The Warden sent warning ahead and doubled his pace directly for Obsidian. Teams aboard were already searching for anything out of place, reporting no signs of approaching lifesigns, no mental trace, and the ship itself showed no forced entries elsewhere. Puzzled now, The Warden descided to inform the Primary of what may or may not have been going on, although when he arrived at the Queen's chamber, the door did not open on it's own.- -moving to the archway, The Warden peered thorugh the membrane, and cast his mind forward-"My Queen? Are you well?" "Why would you ask such a thing? What are you so alarmed about? Why did the ship lock me in here?" -was his reply, her thoughts sounding terse and annoyed. Had she sounded or felt troubled he'd have cut the door down then and there, but her words confirmed what he thought- "The ship is protecting you .. one of the experimental drones emerged ahead of scheduled development.. it came straight here... and we can't track it." -there was a pause, and the impression of her frowning- "Can't track it? You mean you can't feel it out?" "Yes, Primary... from the moment it emerged it was in hiding... I think it came here out of instinct... perhaps if you searched it would reveal itself... " -there was sudden alarm felt through the ship, and the door to the Throne chamber opened at the same time a large figure was dropping from a cut in the overhead membrane. It landed in a feral crouch, low in the mist that covered the floor, and far enough back in the chamber that even at full speed The Warden wouldn't reach the Primary before it did. On impulse, everyone froze, as the Queen slowly rose from her throne and kept her back to it as she descended the slight stair and came to the center of the room. Thrusting her chin defiantly forward, she turned around and faced the hulking shape- -a low, beastial rumble echoed through the chamber, making even The Warden's skin crawl and his hand itch to reach for his blade. The modified drone slowly stood, and both the Warden and the Queen balked; the drone stood two and a half meters tall, and looked to weigh an easy 350 lbs. It's upper body was visibly rippled with developed muscle, as well as powerfull legs, and it's skin was a pale grey with mottled patterns along outer edges. It's arms and legs alike ended in taloned digets, but it was the head that was most changed. The usal drone needed it's faceless mask to regulate it's underdeveloped breathing, as well as it's poor eyesight. This drone had a massively developed jaw structure, highly defined facial dencity as if it's skeleton was dence. It's eyes were deeply sunken and small but they were open and tracking each figure within line of sight- -as The Warden took a step into the chamber, the modified drone drew back thin lips revealing rows of black vicious teeth, including upper and lower pronounced canines, and emitted a bone shuddering bellow, dropping into a lower stance with both arms out at it's sides and hands open, curling it's taloned fingers into claws. The Primary held up her hand instantly, and The Warden stepped back out of the chamber slowly- -Once the drone lowered it's hands again and slowly raised to it's full height, the Primary slowly reached out her hands, palms up, and extended her mental caress. At first the drone twitched and withdrew as if struck, looking around for what had touched it, then settled it's beady feral gaze on the queen. With steps that could be felt all the way to where the Warden was standing, the beast rounded the edge of the throne dias and approached the queen, stopping just outside the reach of her outstreached fingers. The Warden was again stunned by it's sheer size, after such a short growth period, as the beast towered over the Primary who had until now dominated all the others by her height- -as the rest watched, on severe edge, the Queen took that final step closer, raising her hands slowly to either side of that massive, feral face. It bared its teeth with a low rumbling and clicking sound in it's chest and throat, but only slightly drew it's head back. The Warden kept close watch on the thing's hands as The Primary slowly ran her fingertips along the coarse brissled skin along the beast's jawline, then up along it's pronounced brow and down it's cheeks, like a mother admiring a beautiful child. Her touch seemed to mesmerize the beast, and it's piercing gaze started to visibly soften. Finally, the beast lowered it's head, resting it's massive brow against the Primary's own as she embraced its treetrunk neck. - "The Alpha Hunter... evading even my Warden... you are the fist among many to come..."-her addressing of the drone was broadcast to all those within her range, and they could feel the strength of the beast under her hands, the exhileration of it's feral presence as felt through the Queen's proximity with it. The Warden felt his chest swell with pride and contacted the scientist still aboard the growth center- "Innoculate them all ...now " Edited by Ares, Dec 4 2010, 10:28 PM.

-the greenish tint of dawn filtered through the dence groth of forest around the semicircle of support structures assisting the growth of the Shadow crusiers. Their black hulls shifted and played with the light and the forest hues, while their limbs and inner workings were finalizing their adjustments. The Warden noted that this batch was already attuned to eachother, some leftover remnant of their time during the hunting trial.- -the first rays of noonday were cutting their way through the canopy when the scream of the Shadow engine coming online echoed through the trees, quickly joined by several of the others until the sounds were a chorus of horror as the ships rose from the forest floor for their first flight around the system. The outstreached limbs cast wicked shadows accross the land as they spiraled into the darkness of space- -The Shadow crusiers cut through space like falcons through air, their manuvering thrusters assisting the engines to allow intence manuvers at breakneck speeds. Darts were launched from the moon based hives to test their tracking capability. In ones and twos, the Shadows tracked, hunted, and stalked their assigned Darts with a tenacity and ferocity of a hungry shark after a bleedng guppy. Their pilot commanders relayed information to eachother about how each ship seemed to feed on the sensor trajectory of the other ships, like a pack- -next to test was their silent running. Each of the fifteen ships took a turn at being hunted, running in shadow mode as long as they could before detection and capture. The test became somewhat of a game, and lasted long into the night. Round after round of hunt and seek became hunt and tag, quickly escilating nearly into hunt and destry before The Warden called a hault, sensing the aggression level of the fleet like an exponential growth.- -While the Warden was taming the Shadows, the Primary was traveling from growth center to center, as more and more of the Hunter Killer Drones erupted from their development cells, greeting each one's arrival personaly to insure their genetic instinctive bonding was to her. Shortly after Alpha's introduction on the main hive, the Scientist responcible started developing suits and masks to wear, formed from the hull material harveted from the growing Shadow ships. The hull material, combined with a thin membrane like layer worn underneath, allowed the wearer to mimic the Shadow crusier's ability to blend with their surroundings- -the masks develped, unlike the standard drone featureless casing, was made ominous. While remainig mostly featureless -- no mouth or defining features- the 'face' plate of the mask was noticably a face, with defined eye sockets and cheek hollows, giving a grim, skull like visage, while easing the HK's ability to breathe and see clearly. In accent of their role, and title, in lieu of stun weapons, these drones were given various martial weapons; bracer mounted blades, handheld spears, dual hand swords much like the Warden's prized weapon, all organic, but still as hard and sharp as any metal- -The Alpha Hunter, the prototype to emerge, quickly asserted itself as the lead drone. Normally mindless to a fault, these HK drones were capable of self awareness, as well as integration with the collective hive. Loyal and fearless as the usual drone, they were accented by a ferocity and cunning of an animalistic nature. Pack mentality quickly made itself evident, and groups were similiarly formed by allowing them to find their own nitche with eachother- -When The Warden returned from settling the Shadow ships, each group of 5 was returned to it's original moon to rejoin the hive that had dontated them. Returning himself to Obsidian, The Warden was given the task of teaching the Alpha the martial prowess that had made him the primary commander. It was made evident early on, however, that simple training would not be enough for these drones. They needed to learn by doing, not by repeating; they needed to be tought on the field, not the classroom- -taking Alpha, and his chosen pack of twelve Hunter Killers, The Warden loaded them aboard a Shadow born Scout ship, and plotted a course out of the system. With their mapped locations of the goa'uld satelites, they knew where to come and go without detection, and what settlements were large enough to defend themselves. Avoiding the goa'uld entirely, the Warden chose instead to field test them instead on a human base they'd passed by- ---- -arrival in the Manarian system went unnoticed, and they landed on an outskirt to a larger settlement. The city lights could be seen through the distance at night, as the pre-industrial society lit their torches and graced their eaves with candles so late coming husbands and children could find their way in the dark- -the Alpha pack was dispersed, following The Warden up the incline toward the city. He showed them first, how to cloud the surface perceptions of weaker minds, as they passed the peremiter guards like ghosts in the dark. They fell without a sound, and their desicated husks wouldnt be found for weeks. Then came the defencive wall, thirty feet of vertical stone. The pack lept and climbed like spiders, as easily as breathing, dispaching the tower watch as quickly and quietly as the peremiter guard. - -a patrollman came ambling along his route out to check one of the towers on his path, climbing up noisily along the wooden ladder- "Oi, Nicola! I brought that brandy you ..." -the words died in his throat as he turned, halfway through the hatch to see his friend's skeletal body laying proped against the wall on his own spear. His silouette in the tower light showed no sign of distress as the patroll watch was yanked back down the ladder by unseen hands. Only a slight yelp escaped him before he too fell silent forever- -the pack spread out, Alpha leading his own trio while the Warden took a few others, infiltrating, breaching, making their way through the city a house at a time in coordinated assaults. Their silence, coupled with their strength, and quickly growing skill, allowed them to make it from one end of the city layout to the other by dawn. When the first rays of the sun struck the city, it was empty. Not a shot was fired, not a call of alarm or shout of pain was heard, which made it all the more horrible for those who came to find the city later when no word had been heard- -One commander, and one squadron of the new Hunter Killers, had descimated the town of over 500 men, women and children of all ages, and vanished without a single track or trace besides the husks of the bodies they left behind. Some were in their beds, the look of horror and fear perminantly etched on their skeletal faces. Some at the door, as if answering a knock for a friend.- -as The Warden was entering hyperspace on the return trip, he showed them how to share their experiences, reliving the night long hunt over and over to solidify their training as well as how to pass it along.- |

-the return to the Throneworld system was heralded by three Shadow crusiers verifying the Warden's identity before allowing past to the main moon-planet housing Obsidian and the largest of the three hives. Landing the scout in the bay, the Alpha pack was dissmissed to spread what they'd learned among the others that had not come along. The Warden moved hurridly to the throne room and entered, kneeling and baring the side of his neck- "What troubles you that you would have the Shadows on point defence my Queen?" -she sat sidelong in her chair, facing the walls of her chamber where the firstborn were still slowly developing. Her jaw was set tightly and her posture was rigid as she replied- "the pretenders found a small group of our kind stranded on a planet deep in the galaxy rim. They've sacrificed themselves with the Mind Death.. the goa'uld are looking for us... " -the Warden frowned. None of their kind had used the Mind Death technique in centuries, mellenia even. That they would resort to such drastic measures to protect the information they knew, meant only that the interrogators were asking about queens and locations. Only under extreme situations is the technique employed, and he gave a moment of silence for the fallen- "The Alpha and his chosen Pack have performed admirably and, above all expectations. They are sharing their knowledge and training now. Am I to understand another batch is already underway?" -the queen nodded, and rose from her throne, approaching the Warden and as he stood, she rested her head on his shoulder and exhailed- "We don't like hiding... " -the Warden paused, disliking it when she referred to herself and the ship as the same thought, but gently rested his arms around her frame- "It won't be long... Is there aught you would like me to do?" -the queen thought for a moment, then he could feel her descision like a weight- "It's time to start ... man two crusiers... take the Shadows... and Alpha... retrace the voyage here... find and destroy all the satelites left by themselves save one... then return here and leave one volenteer at the damaged satelite to observe.." -he could feel that she wanted to do this herself, that sitting in the shadows and sending out troops was not her 'style', but he bowed his head and left to do her bidding as instructed. He found Alpha and let them know what the Primary required, and shortly after two of two of the new shadow crusiers were exiting the system. They entered hyperspace a ways from the system to insure no back wash would be traced, as they headed toward their first target- -they started with the first recorded scan furthest from Teplo that their maps had made. It took less than a minute for the constant beam fire of the Shadow ships to disable the shield and start cutting up the satelite's hull. In little more than ten minutes, the structure was little more than floating bits no bigger than dinner plates. - -the next three took less time as the first tought them just how long to maintain attacking, just how much power to pour into the weapons before the shields failed, and the hull was ripe for assault. After the fifth satelite was destroied, they chose to circle back, and hit closer to Teplo and Talus, and nearly destroied it before leaving it sparking and sputtering in space. A single shadow born dart launched and settled in against the satelite hull.- -as the two crusiers veered away and entered hyperspace in opposite directions, planning on exicuting multiple jumps and scanns to return home undetected, the single shadow born dart settled in, the only active energy they gave off was the brief system scan before going dormant again for a few hours - |

-since he never really slept, the Warden spent most of his time wandering the halls of the growth chambers, making sure all was in order for the development. Scientists went from cell to cell making sure all readouts were clear and steady; they'd discovered that the accelerated growth was also sometimes unstable, and 1 out of every ten to fifteen failed life support. They just grew too fast for the body to maintain- -outside, war games were once again in motion, pitting the newly combined Hunter/Killer teams with Wraith commanders against the other two colonies. The Hunter/Killer drones were performing far beyond any expectation, capable of taking multiple orders and not only completing them, but reasoning out alternatives when the straight path to completion wasn't as clear as 'go here, do this'- -the one the Primary called Alpha, above all, was prooving extraordinary. He thought like a Wraith, he reasoned like a Wraith. He somehow, wasn't just a drone, like all the rest. He thought things through, and when the Warden watched, he could almost see the thoughts filter through his mind, before he exicuted any action- -the three facilities were capable of producing one hundred drones per 'batch', each, and the first series would train the following ones by collective shared training from the mission the Warden had taken Alpha on. The imprint of the Primary came first, followed by 'introduction' to the Alpha pack, where they would spend a good three or four hours being imprinted by the combined knowledge, forming both a bond with the Alpha, and the requisite training for their purpose- -while the hunting games were taking place, three more Shadow crusiers were being grown on each moon. For some reason, either the development, the enzyme, or a combination of the two, the Hunter/Killers found the growth process fasinating. When not 'playing' with the war games, they were huddled in their packs and small groups around the growth centers, watching the development of the massive black hull as it grew larger. In fact he'd found taming the latest batch twice as easy as the initial three prototypes when he had the Hunter/Killers on board.- -suddenly he felt anxiety, and out of instinct he ran from the growth center over to the grounded Obsidian and up the gang plank. Racing through the halls he found the Throne room door open and skidded to a hault as if struck by a wall. The Primary stood, ridgid in the center, her head back and her body straight, completely focused. She was tapping into the ship, and the collective, boosting her mental reach to untold distance, and was funneling that reach into a single point so far away the Warden couldn't picture it- -her lips moved as if she was speaking, but he couldn't hear anything and her mind was so focused and distant he couldn't feel or hear what she was projecting. Finally she broke the connection with enough force for a visible pisonic pulse to eminate from her and knock the Warden off his feet into the outer hall. Shaking his head, feeling like he'd just been hit with a low level stunner, he got back to his feet, nightshade eyes focused on the Primary as she walked sensually over toward him- "Once the latest growth is complete, mobilize immidiately...take half the fleet and one hive with you. I have a target ... and I want it raised to the ground... It's time to begin the Hunt...." |

-the fleet that had departed, returned in parts. Small groups of crusiers and finally the Hive. They reconnected with the collective and a mass sharing of the raising of Honshu was begun. Humans were brought from the farms for a mock hunt and feast, a reward for a job well done- -The Warden found the Queen in her chamber, slowly pacing around her throne, arms folded in front of her. He paused and watched for a moment, struck by the odd impression of vulnerability she exibited. Granted she was taller, stronger, more terrifying than even the new Hunter Killers in her own right, but right then, she seemed utterly alone. It was then it dawned on him; after the other queen had been consumed, Obsidian was, for all intents and purposes, the last of her kind- -he was suddenly dumbfounded by the prospect. Had their race fallen so far? One Queen alive, out of countless hundreds before. It saddened him greatly, and he didn't mask his feelings as he stepped further into the room, announcing his presence by kneeling and sweeping his mane to one side- "I am at your bidding, my Queen..."-and he made sure she felt his sincerity, his devotion. She may be the last, but she would not be alone, as long as he was alive. He felt her hands run through the hair at the back of his head and down his neck, curling around his shoulder and squeezing- "My champion ... " -her words were as physical as her touch, running through him like an adrenaline surge. He stood, and shared his personal experience on the raid with her directly, and then in spades, what he'd gathered from the others- "This .. Pride... he is the head of the goa'uld now isn't he." -more statment than question from the Primary, and he merely nodded- "Do you suppose he is earnest?" -the Warden snorted, crossing his arms, filled with contempt- "At best he's trying to buy your favor ... perhaps he has control of systems with larger populations and is willing to offer them as sacrifice to avoid the same fate as the system we just visited... There were no reinforcements, and the ships that were there were nothing like the ones we encountered under Ajax's control at Talus... " -she nodded, and went back to circling her throne, pursing her lips in thught. Finally, tapping her finger against the top of the throne she turned her eyes to the Warden- "Get Alpha... I take the pack with me ... Obsidian stays here I will take one of the other hives... " -The Warden was about to voice protest but she raised a hand- "I will not leave the ship... and I will not enguage the enemy ... you will stay here and maintain the growth ... there are three more ships growing on each moon... and the growth centers are starting another cycle... somone will need to be here to imprint them... " -she turned and headed for the dart bay, a thrill of action at last running through her veins. It was far past the point where she felt cooped up here on the surface. She ran her hands along the wall of the hallway as she walked, feeling the ship's hessitance about letting her go, but she was confident Obsidian would obey. Her children were more important- |

As the powerful Titan Net signal burst into the system the image of Lord Pride filled the Wraith screens and facilities as the powerful Goa’uld Lord’s eyes flashed wickedly. Lord Pride sat upon a massive stone throne in the safety of “Titan’s Castle” as he says,” To the new Primary of the Wraith, I believe you and I have business to attend to still, we have the issue of my attacked servants and your overt aggression toward the Titan Empire.” He smiles confidently as he taps his fingers on the arm of his throne……

-at first there was no response and just before Pride's temper started to get the better of his blood pressure, there was a purring multitonal voice across the open link- "I thought you of all people would appreciate the negotiation tactics taken to date. I have unequivocally shown you my value to you, my willingness to assist, and my ability to compromise. In the same actions taken to in valuate myself to you I have also shown the depth of my political machinations, the scope of which I am capable of reaching, and the resolve behind the drive to strengthen my people." -finally an image was received along with the voice, and the interior of the ovular Queen's chamber came onto the screen. The throne at the end of the room was flanked by two of the massive Hunter/Killer warriors, and a few steps away stood the masked Warden, straight and in loose attention. The Primary herself sat on her own throne, a mirror of Pride on his, with the addition of a toddler sized Wraith in her lap playing with a braid of her hair- "Any servants attacked by the Wraith were obviously in the wrong place at the time. Your empire is so secure I couldn't possibly harm an actual patron of your keeping. As for unfinished business, I suppose we do, if there is anything left of the matrix …" -she stroked the child's head in her lap, eyes raising to glint across the room at him- "I would hate to see anyone who happened to be in the wrong place at that point… " |

Lord Pride frowns as he says, “Yes the Matrix, MY ultimate expression of power, I do believe we can be of service to one another in that regard?” Lord Pride leans back in the throne and says, “Perhaps I will consider returning the Babylon System to you if you share with me your insight into the Matrix….perhaps.” The powerful Goa’uld Lord raises his chin and with a look of pride says, “A meeting? Neutral world, you, me, a few attendants..let us say two standard days in the Teplo System?...” |

-the Primary stood and handed the child off to The Warden wordlessly and crossed the distance of the chamber as if walking up the pathway directly to him. The impression was so surreal Pride caught himself straightening in his chair, and saw the guards around him gripping their weapons as if readying for an attack- -she purred a low chuckle and tilted her head- "Why would I need the Babylon system? It's lifeless, and empty as the Teplo system you want to meet in. I know, because I did it… If it is Teplo you want to meet in, that is fine… but we've done the entourage game already… If we meet again, face to face… let us meet alone.. Our ships can stay in orbit… and we can have our talk without prying eyes or ears." -without waiting for a confirmation, the com was closed, and the screen went blank- |

The Goa’uld Lord leans back into his throne and frowns furiously as he contemplates how to deal with this Wraith Queen. His eyes flash golden as he looks to a massive statue of the Titan Emperor Atlas, with the merest twitch of his eyebrow the massive stone statue of the larger then life Goa’uld explodes sending stone and dust showering through the throne room. Priest and Jaffa looked concerned as the Goa’uld Lord rises from the throne and strides purposely from the room as he says,” See to the replacement of that statue….” |

-the galaxy wide sightings of the Wraith ships had continued unabated for nearly a full solar day. Hazing runs and utterly disastrous strikes against land based compounds had racked up a sizable body count and losses for resource sites and stockades. Then, just as suddenly as the swarm had appeared, like their ghostly namesake, the entire fleet seemed to disappear- -One group of Travelers had attempted to intercede on a planet's behalf, when they were being scanned by the sword like Cruisers. When the Shadow pack had shown up and started hacking their ships to pieces without mercy or warning, the entire group of three ships had thought they had fallen for some kind of bait and switch trap. But, like elsewhere in the galaxy, the ships received orders to withdraw into secret, and the attack had stopped just like that. Without a word, without a reason, the ships broke off, screamed by, and vanished into individual hyperspace windows leaving the broken Traveler ships to their fates - -now that their full map had been made, and satellite locations marked before they'd gone into their stealth mode upon Pride's activation of the network, navigation around the zones of scrutiny was simple. Taking round about paths, shortcuts, and using blind spots like polarized nebulas, pulsars, and natural phenomenon, the fleet made it's slow way back to the House of Pain trio of planet moons. They made a game out of gathering up the now nearly five million strong human herds they'd amassed, spreading out the stock between the remaining hives, only a handful of hundreds going to the various cruisers. The better stock went to Obsidian, and the Leviathan prototype Shadow hive, and what facilities could be uprooted were. The Science labs were dissolved, the cloning facilities were attached to the Hives like piggy back domes- -when everything that could be moved was off the planets, the fleet began to filter out of the system, using the natural cover of the nebula gas to enter hyperspace and begin the exodus through the void to their new home, emerging in the chaotic cloud of the Cataclysm Nebula around the Matrix- -The last ship to leave, the Leviathan prototype had a final task; the four forward sweeping arms glowed and pulsed as power built, and the point of each arm shot out a thin indigo beam like the Shadow Cruisers, but not outward, these angled toward each other. The four beams met in a growing ball of energy, then suddenly lashed out in a near kilometer wide beam of unimaginable force. The beam struck the planets near their equatorial center, and in a few short minutes bored a three kilometer hole straight through each one, causing the start of a planet wide cataclysmic collapse. When the Leviathan left the area to join the rest of the fleet, it left behind an empty husk of a system, with shattered, ruined planets as a calling card; We Were Here- |
