Ship Type: Hatak Class: Daemon MKII Designer: Wepwawet Manufacturer: Kolox Shipyard Length: 850 Width: 700 Height: 425 Fuel: Naquadah Hyperdrive system: Advanced Goa'uld Power plant: Naquadah Shielding: Modified Goa'uld Shielding Hull: Naquadah Alloy Sensor system: Basic Goa'uld Sensors Armament: Goa'uld Staff Cannons (120) Power Supply mk: II Shields mk: III Weapons mk: II.5 Hull mk: I Engines/Manoeuvrability mk: II Average mk: 2.1 Complement: 6 wings of Deathgilders Crew: 1-8 Troops: 2000 Jaffa Standard Systems: Transporter Rings Cloak Asgard Transporter Additional Systems: Naquadah Torpedoes New Average mk: 2.3 Final mk: 2 Wepwawet designed this ship because he was unhappy with the Ophois MKII. Not only was it weaker than expected but it could not fulfil its role as ship of the line. The ship was made bigger than a normal ha'tak not only to fit more troops in but also to get more Deathgilders on board as well. Wepwawet was able to get a lot more Deathgilders on board by not only making the ship bigger, but by removing the Al'kesh hanger bays and some slight internal rearranging. the ship was also made a lot stronger, it might only have MKII Goa'uld staff cannons but it has one hundred and twenty of them which has greatly increased its fire rate. A long with that there was also some torpedoes launchers installed as well for some increased fire power. the defensive side of the ship was also improved by installing MKIII Shields and power generation systems. All of these things combined has made the Daemon class MKII a very powerful ship that should not be taken lightly. Edited by Wepwawet, Sep 26 2011, 12:15 PM.
