Stygia, Prime Meridian and Equatorial intersect, Sea bed;

Deep under the never-ending, swampy waters of Stygia lays a facility that spans many miles across the Stygian seabed. A large dome-like structure sits on the bottom of the ocean, where the planet's equator and the prime meridian interest. Branching out from this dome are various tunnels, all leading to larger, almost warehouse like facilities. From within the clear, shielded dome, it appears the facility never ends, spanning as far as the eye can see through the clear waters. Most of the water around the facility is lighted by internal lighting, but beyond that is darkness.

The Stygian labs are Razh'ek's new laboratory and experiment facilities. Where the dome acts as a main command center, able to control various system defense and functions within the base itself, multiple warehouse like structures contain the actual labs. Some of these are big enough to fit an entire ship.

A few drones, retro-fitted to work underwater, move back and forth constructing the large underwater structure. A white light can be seen flashing from inside dome, as a few Jaffa are beamed in to begin interior work.

Various Jaffa and Scientists run amok trying to finish up construction on the underwater laboratory. Inside the main dome, what was once one large empty room has been separated into smaller rooms and hallways, with the center being the main laboratory. Three half-cylindrical tunnels lead off to the east, west, and south.

At the end of each tunnel, another slightly larger dome sits. The ones to the east and west are not separated, remaining large warehouses. The southernmost dome is also largely open, seperated once by a room and a hallway that leads towards the main dome's tunnel. The top of the dome has a large hatch, capable of sliding open to let in various smaller submersible craft, such as construction drones.

Stygia, Stygian Labs, Laboratory Center;

At the center of the Stygian Lab's main dome lies the Laboratory Center, a wide circular room. Scientists work at consoles, lining all of the rounded walls. A few portions of the wall are cut away, revealing shelves and hatches with various technologies and machine parts lying dormant. As the only bare patch of wall slides open to reveal a hidden door, a few Jaffa enter, headed towards the main console on the far side,

"Is it ready yet?" A tall, dark jaffa spoke to a smaller female, working at the main console. She answered without looking up, continuing her work,

"Almost, I was actually just about to test it..." As she enters in a few commands to activate the device, the mirrored circular dias at the center of the room lights up. The white light seems to form some sort of forcefield, as the device that was placed on the dias begins to hover. Green tendrils fall from the mirrored dias on the ceiling, turning red as the device breaks into pieces, mechanical chords snapping.

As the light turns green again, the device reassembles itself. A fleshy substance is created, and circuits are replaced with nerves, motors with muscles and tendons. The metal cylinder grows fingers, and begins to be covered by skin. The green light stops, revealing what seems to be a human arm.

The tall jaffa looks at the result, stepping over to the arm as the white light dies. He picks it up, moving it back and forth as the dead-weight arm flops, "Impressive...we are almost done here...take a break, then get back to work"

Stygia, High Orbit;

The torn "Serekh" drops out of hyperspace above the water planet, already receiving a signal from the commander of the re-designated Tal'ryn cruiser, the "Decimator",

"My Grim, this is Commander Calo. We were expecting you sooner."

Razh'ek chuckled over the comm, "I was caught up with another matter, Commander. Even if I was killed, I would have arrived around now." Calo seemed to be talking through a smile, "Death is but a miniscule bug to you my Grim."

"Enough of this nonsense, new plans have arose. Bring the El'iiti Guard and First Prime Kale to the labs, I will meet you there..."

"Of course" Commander Calo cut the comm, steering his ship back to Saqqara. The El'iiti Guard had shrunk to 100 in the past years, but they were still very skilled warriors. However, Calo was a bit nervous. He was one of the few that knew the story of Xen'ak, Razh'ek's previous first prime. he was not an El'iiti warrior, but was trained as one. He was at times even better, but Calo was worried for Kale. Xen'ak had been turned into the ruthless Assassin, Sinn. He was made into a Goa'uld host and subjugated through a process of bioengineering. Calo had no choice but to carry out his orders...

Stygia, Stygian Labs, Laboratory Center;

A white light appeared on the circular dias in the center of the room, but it was different than the machine's activation light. The light dissipated as Razh'ek appeared. A jaffa strode over the the Grim Lord, kneeling and giving a status report,

"My Grim, the GMDs are 100% finished." Razh'ek looked down at the jaffa for a second, noticing he had already upgraded to the MK I Dread Armor,

"How do you fair with your new armor?" Razh'ek was curious to the success of his latest design. "Truthfully, it is a bit bulky, but very sturdy. If I were to have any fear in battle, this would disprove it."

"Good, now...are you sure of the secondary GMDs progress?" The jaffa stood from his kneeling position, his new Dread Armor bathed in the orange light from it's central power cyrstal,

"Absolutely positive, and your other two designs are ready to go. Shall we begin implementation now?"

Razh'ek straightened himself, removing his hood and mask. His pale skin was complimented by his pupil-less white eyes, "Exactly my thoughts, begin implementation..."

As Razh'ek began to disrobe, the machine was bathed in white light. Razh'ek seemed almost translucent, his veins clearl visible. A green light began to twist around him, falling from the ceiling. Razh'ek closed his eyes, knowing what was coming. As the the green light turned to red, Razh'ek clenched his teeth and did not utter a sound. He was so used to the pain after using the machine various times. His skin began to change, and his muscles began to become slightly more defined. His pale, pasty skin darkened to a nice brown, and finally to a black obsidian like color. A pattern of a skull was left on his face, the original pale and translucent white...a relic of his former self. His bottom jaw began to sink into his neck, disappearing as it was in is former hybrid stage. His white eyes turned a shade of black, with grey veins replacing the red. His right arm began to shrink, forming a stub like figure.

As the red light twisted, further distorting the Grim lord, machine-like tentacles rose from the base of the dias, installing various parts. Razh'ek began to float, hoisted by some form of energy given off by the device. His body became limp, but did not fall. His right arm was replaced with an almost identical one, now of the same black skin. However, instead of being grown it was plugged in, cybernetic wires linking to the nerves and entwining themselves in with his muscles. His bottom jaw was plastered over with trinium and cybernetic motors, enhancing and repairing his vocal chords and throat. A lone tentacle with a saw like apparatus rose behind him, rising to his head and cutting the entire back of his skull off. Pieces of his scalp and skull fell to the ground as another tentacle rose, holding some sort of crystal. Slowly the crystal was installed, parting the host's brain and linking it back together again. The brain was modified, half human and half machine. It's long and short term memory banks were removed, replaced with what looked like a mechanical drive, receptors linked to nerves, the neuron pathways that carry thoughts and commands. The disk fit like a glove, clicking in. Brain fluid and some other sort of cynthetic slime began to cover the disk as two other mechanical arms screwed a trinium plate cover onto the back of his skull.

The red light turned green before spindling it's way back into the dias on the ceiling with the white light still active. Razh'ek still hung, suspended as mechanical arms began to install various pieces of his new armor. Some seemed to be bolted on, while others were merely a synthetic cloth like Reflex X variant. The white light shut off, and Razh'ek slumped onto the floor.

A few hours passed before Razh'ek awakened, fully armored in the chair of the laboratory's main console. He quickly rose, as if startled from a deep sleep. He looked down at the consoles reflective surface, grasping what could only be called his trinium chin, and turning his head from side to side.

"Impressive" he spoke out loud as various jaffa stood by watching. Within a few seconds, his helmet extruded from his armor, covering his head with a mere thought. Looking at the main console, he attempted to call on the Geryon A.I. Sure enough, within a few seconds Geryon appeared in hologram form next to him,

"Marvelous, marvelous." With another thought to activate his link, the hologram disappeared, returning to it's main hub on the ship in orbit.

Without saying a word to the jaffa in attendance, Razh'ek stood on the central dias once more, and the floor opened to reveal some sort of turbo-lift. He slowly descended into the even wider circular room below, the floor closing behind him....

A lone turbo-lift pad fell in the center of a clear tube, spinning slowly. Razh'ek looked upon the 50 or so warriors below, all standing on circular daises. As the lift reached the floor, the a section of the tube slid into the floor and Razh'ek walked out. He nodded to Sinn and Kale, both standing at the front of the assemblage. Calo stood to the side, leaning against the wall in his new Dread armor.

Razh'ek walked forward, his arms in the air as if providing a welcome, "My humble warriors, my elite guard, welcome! You may have noticed that I have made a certain update to my armor, I assure you I am more powerful than ever!" He lowered his hands as the gathered jaffa raised their fists, shouting a unison roar of approval. With a wave of his hand, Razh'ek quelled the uproar,

"You may be wondering why I have gathered you here, and what my new abilities have to do with you? Well, my elite warriors, you are being promoted! Calo, please do the honor...." Razh'ek turned his head to Calo, his helmet sliding away in segments below his color. Calo stared into his eyes, into the black abyss from where there is no escape. His bottomless pits for eyes were only contrasted by the white skull tattooed on his face, and his silver bottom jaw.

Calo nodded to his Lord, reaching to the right he lowered a lever on a large wall console. Almost immediately, every single dais became a pod, encircled by a clear tube. Most of the jaffa stood still in their new environments, while others touched the pod, wondering what was happening....

"You are to become carriers of my word, my will, and leaders of my army. He nodded to Sinn and Kale, standing straight at attention in the front of the other 48 Jaffa. Green and red gasses began to rise up through the tubes, encasing their inhabitants within a blinding colored fog. Suddenly the room was filled with screams, the changing jaffa banging against the clear solid tubes.

"There is, however, room for improvement...Renounce your old roles, you are HARBINGERS!" Sinn and Kale stood at the front, slightly twitching but standing strong. As the rest of the jaffa continued to be altered, their altering process finished, the gas clearing to reveal mechanical arms and tubes pumping various substances into their bodies, and fusing various armors into their skin. The shining silver-graphite armor looked menacing. On the left was some sort of wrist weapon, but on the right was a completely dissimilar arm. A giant claw replaced the hand, and various spikes, metal pieces and tubes rose up the length of the arm, making it into a giant weapon. Sinn raised his hand, looking at the rippling surface of his palm as the Reflex X began to activate.

The same happened to the now finishing other 48 jaffa, and before long the gas had cleared, allowing the tubes to open and sink back into the ground. Razh'ek nodded at Calo, who raised the lever back to it's original position.

Razh'ek looked out at his new warriors, all identical except for the two at the front whose helmets were deactivated. Sinn's head was bald, his skin very pale and his eyes white. He smiled his serrated teeth as he looked to Kale, whose appearance had not changed. Kale still sported his black goatee and thick eyebrows, furrowed in surprise.

"Who are you, and whom do you serve?" A simple question, but one that caused another unison roar from the crowd,

"We are Harbingers! We serve the Grim!" Razh'ek began to cackle as the Harbingers repeated this phrase, Sinn and Kale turned around to look at their new army, as the other Harbingers knelt before them. Razh'ek stood between them, his arms raised high once more,

"Kneel before your Grim, and your Divine Harbinger's Sinn and Kale! They will command you in my stead!" As Razh'ek began to laugh once more, the uproar was quieted by the sound of alarms. Razh'ek looked to Calo as he brought up a message from Saqqara,

"My Grim, we are picking up a hyperspace window in system! No sign of the vessels, they have cloaked!"

Razh'ek walked back up to his dais, rising up the turbo-lift once more. He yelled to his new elite soldiers, "Form up! We shall test your new found abilities! Sinn, Kale, each of you will command half of this force! Commander Calo, round up your troops and get back to your ship!"
